Week 6 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Alex Smith and More Must-Start Sleeper QBs
Between bye weeks and injuries, it's time to keep your eyes open for some nice sleeper replacements. The most important position in fantasy football is quarterback.
So, if your normal quarterback isn't playing this week, or you're just worried about how productive they are going to be, take a nice look at these guys.
They may not seem like the best fantasy plays, but they are worth a risk.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Okay, I was just kidding there. If you bench Tom Brady, I really hope you're in one of my leagues.
Alex Smith
Opposing quarterbacks have actually done a very nice job against the Lions defense this year. While I do expect some sacks on Smith from Detroit, I am not expecting too many turnovers.
Smith has thrown only one interception this season. His numbers haven't been great, but they have been solid.
Consider this: over the last two weeks, Smith has thrown for a combined 461 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions. That works out to a pretty good fantasy average.
Whether it will stay this way or not remains to be seen, but football in the Bay Area is pretty good right now. So, why not extend that to fantasy as it relates to their quarterbacks?
Cleveland's defense hasn't been especially potent against the pass this year. I know that they have strong players, but the numbers are there for a reason.
Rotoworld is also reporting that Joe Haden will miss the game. That won't hurt Campbell's numbers.
Oakland's offense is probably the best they have faced this year. Don't be surprised if Campbell has a big day in what will be a very emotional game.
The Raiders defense is dealing with its own issues, and they allow a lot of passing yards every week. I also think that the Raiders will be ahead for most of this game, so McCoy will be throwing a lot.
I am a little worried that that would mean interceptions for McCoy. Still, I do expect the yardage totals and possible touchdowns to override that.
I don't think Cleveland will win this one, but their quarterback will have a nice day on the stats sheet.
