NFL Picks Week 6: Buffalo Bills and Other Disappointments on the Horizon
Week 6 could prove to be a huge week in the scheme of things. The Washington Redskins face the Philadelphia Eagles this weekend in a game that could all but eliminate the Eagles from the NFC East picture.
The Bills face the Giants this week in a big game for both sides. The Giants will be hoping to stay on par with the Redskins at the top of the division, while the Bills will be hoping to maintain their winning ways, and hold onto the top spot in the AFC East.
Each game has to have a winner and a loser, so which teams will disappoint their fan bases the most this weekend?

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Buffalo Bills
Don't buy into the Bills just because they are 4-1. They have one of the worst defenses in the NFL, as they are giving up the seventh most passing yards, and the fourth most passing yards per game.
They are conceding 24 points per game to this point in the season, and are doomed to fall from their pedestal.
Their offense is also a bit overrated. Fred Jackson has been running the ball well, and while Fitzpatrick was hot early in the season he has cooled off. He has just three touchdowns in his his last three games, and has also thrown three interceptions to go along with those touchdowns.
This team can't live on batted ball interceptions all season, and a letdown will be coming when they are exposed by the New York Giants.
The Giants did lose to Seattle last week, but that stadium is one of the most difficult stadiums to play at in the NFL.
The Giants have been under-performing this season, while the Bills have been over-performing. Things are bound to turn around with so much on the line for the Giants this week.
Dallas Cowboys
Tony Romo is bound for another rough week after his team falls to 2-3.
The Cowboys and their fans were hoping they could turn things around this season and right the ship. That hasn't happened to this point as they collapsed against the Detroit Lions and the New York Jets.
Romo has proven to be a ticking time bomb this year, and while he will likely exploit a soft Patriots secondary, he won't do enough to get the victory in Foxboro.
Tom Brady has been able to single-handedly lead his team to victory, and no one has been able to cover Wes Welker this year. Don't expect that to change on Sunday, as the Patriots will defend their home turf against Dallas.
Atlanta Falcons
After another disappointing loss last week against the Green Bay Packers, the Falcons are desperate for a victory.
The Falcons meet Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers this week, who have been playing extremely well for a 1-4 team to this point. Newton has been on fire both on the ground and through the air.
He has 1,610 yards passing and 160 yards rushing already this season.
The Falcons have struggled to stop the pass this season so Newton is bound to exploit them through the air. Another issue for the Falcons is that they have really struggled to run the ball this season.
They rank just 23rd in the league in rushing yards, and are going to have to run the ball well against the Panthers if they want to have success.
The Panthers struggle to stop the run, but Newton's arm will be too much for the Falcons to overcome. Expect another letdown in Atlanta this week.
