Week 5 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: 3 Under-the-Radar WRs Who Will Be Great Sneaky Starts
With bye weeks getting underway in Week 5, many fantasy owners are scrambling to find one-week replacements for their star players. A number of big-time receivers are on the bye this weekend such as Brandon Marshall, Miles Austin, Dez Bryant and Anquan Boldin.
Because of that, owners are sure to be hitting the waiver wire hard and looking to the deepest depths of their bench for relief. Desperate times call for desperate measures, so many of us will have to settle on fairly unknown players this week.
Here are three under-the-radar receivers that should have productive showings in Week 5.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Early Doucet—Arizona Cardinals
Since an excellent Week 1 performance that saw him catch three passes for 105 yards and a touchdown, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Early Doucet hasn't put up monster numbers, but he has certainly been a consistent contributor.
The Cards have a nice matchup against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. While the Vikings excel against the run, opposing passing games have had plenty of success against them. In all likelihood Minnesota's defensive focus will be on wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, so Doucet should have single coverage all day long.
Minnesota has a solid pass rush with Jared Allen, making quick passes a priority for Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb. Doucet excels on slant routes out of the slot, so he should be a very popular target for Kolb on Sunday.
Titus Young—Detroit Lions
When it comes to the Detroit Lions' offense, all of the credit goes to wide receiver Calvin Johnson, and rightfully so. Rookie slot receiver Titus Young, however, has made his presence known after a slow start and is starting to receive attention from quarterback Matthew Stafford.
Johnson has an incredible eight touchdowns in four games, so it wouldn't be surprising to see the Chicago Bears triple cover Johnson much of the time on Monday night. This should open up plenty of opportunities for the other Lions pass catchers, including Young.
The Bears have been torched through the air in recent weeks and Lions running back Jahvid Best hasn't been overly effective on the ground. Therefore, the Lions will definitely pass the ball regardless of whether Johnson is open, and that bodes well for Young.
Plaxico Burress—New York Jets
Although his ownership is greater than Early Doucet and Titus Young, New York Jets wide receiver Plaxico Burress is likely available in many fantasy leagues as he has yet to put up consistently good performances in his NFL return.
Burress started off the season well with 72 yards and a touchdown, but his production has been spotty since. Luckily for him, the New York passing offense has an extremely favorable matchup this weekend against the New England Patriots.
No team has given up more passing yardage than New England this season, and with the Jets' shift to that of a more pass-happy team, Burress could easily have his best game of the season. Santonio Holmes will probably be a greater priority to stop from the Patriots' perspective as well, so Burress should see plenty of targets, particularly in the red zone.
