Kansas vs. Oklahoma State: Last-Minute Spread Info, Line and Predictions
The Kansas Jayhawks are traveling to Stillwater to take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys this week.
The two teams played last year and it was a one-sided blowout that went OK State's way.
I think it will be more of the same Saturday as the Pokes look like a BCS-bound team while Kansas is having another down year.
It really isn't an equal matchup, but it should still be exciting and there is always upset potential.

Where: Boone Pickens Stadium, Stillwater, Okla.
When: Saturday, 3:30 p.m. EDT
Watch: TBA, according to LSUFootball.net
Spread: Oklahoma State -31.5, according to ScoresAndOdds
I would lay the points with Oklahoma State on this game. The team is high scoring and capable of having a monster game against a suspect Kansas defense.
The only thing that worries me is the weather report right now, which has it at a 60 percent chance of raining. This could bog the passing offense down enough where Oklahoma State won’t be able to easily score and cover.
Keeping checking the weather and make your play based on how bad the weather is.
Over/Under: 73
I’d have to go under here. This is just way too high a total, and even Oklahoma State won’t have a chance of putting up the kind of points to get here.
If it rains, the game is definitely going under. Playing the under is one of the biggest locks I have ever seen in my life.
Key Injuries (according to CollegeInjuryReport.com)
Kansas
RB Darrian Miller—QST (Hamstring): This true freshman talent tweaked his hammy in practice and did not see much time in the Texas Tech game. He has the second most carries on the team and third most yards.
WR Daymond Patterson—OUT (Groin): They shut down Patterson for the season and the senior WR is going to be missed. He led the team in yards last season.
Oklahoma State
OG Jonathan Rush—OUT (Knee): This kid was the starting guard for the Pokes but will miss the remainder of the season.
FS Johnny Thomas—OUT (Academic): The second-leading tackler cannot play this season and is on an academic suspension.
BCS/Top 25 Poll Implications
Oklahoma State could easily make a BCS bowl if it continues its Big 12 dominance. It is currently ranked No. 6 in the AP Poll and No. 7 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
The Cowboys need to win big here over Kansas before they travel to Austin to take on the Longhorns. They also have tough conference games against Baylor, Kansas State and Oklahoma.
They must take things one game at a time and not look ahead to these grueling games and just soundly beat the Jayhawks.
Keys to Kansas Win
Career games from key players.
Jordan Webb, the Jayhawks’ QB, needs to really step up and make plays if the team wants to pull off a huge upset.
He will have to have one of his best games ever, and his supporting cast will need to rally around him. It is highly unlikely, but stranger things have happened.
Keys to Oklahoma State Win
Play mistake-free football.
If the Cowboys start turning the ball over—especially if it is raining—and give Kansas more possessions than it should have, it could be a long day.
Fortunately, the Cowboys are at home and are well coached, so it should not be a problem.
Expect them to win big here unless something crazy happens.
Prediction
Oklahoma State over Kansas, 48-12
