The caption above should read: Is there anything in there?
Today, Oakland played a game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Everything went fine, except for one play.
That play killed us.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Early in the game, with the score tied 3-3, the Raiders tried a fake FG at the 11:57 mark. Apparently, someone on the Raiders coaching staff thought they were still in college.
The ball, grabbed by Lechler, was supposed to be flipped to Janikowski, went through the kicker's legs.
And a player for Kansas City ran it back for a touchdown.
Now, don't get me wrong. Oakland had other chances. Twice on drives, heading into the end zone, Russell was either overthrowing players, like Ronald Curry in the end zone, or throwing it off a yard, like an over the middle pass to Ashley Lelie.
Surprisingly, a TD by Justin Fargas would tie the game at 10-10, in the third quarter.
Then the second and third things to go wrong today happened.
On Kansas City's drive for a touchdown, Gibril Wilson had a ball hit him cleanly in the chest...and he failed to reel it in. Thigpen didn't have a player near him to count as a receiver on this play.
The second was when Justin Fargas, who had only one fumble all year, had one get jarred loose by a incoming Chief player.
Kansas City proceeded to turn this into a 10-point lead, with 8:54 to go.
Oakland didn't go down without a fight, but you could tell the Raiders defense, who had been on the field a long time, was getting tired.
A small drive got Janikowski into range, and brought the game, at that time 20-10, up to 20-13 Chiefs.
And then the Chiefs simply ran out the clock.
Oakland had their chances...just like their season.
This one's on the coach that called the trick play.
