Fantasy Football Week 4 Start Em Sit Em: Chris Johnson and 2 RBs to Rebound

Eric BowmanMay 31, 2018

Running backs are the most important players in fantasy football because they can easily make or break your game.

A low scoring day from one of your running backs is a huge setback, and often times results in a loss. With so many options out there, it's tough to pick the right one week in and week out.

What makes it even harder is when a top tier player has yet to truly get it going, which leaves you wondering whether or not you should start him.

Here are three running backs that will rebound from their poor Week 3 performances.

Chris Johnson

Everyone has been saying stick with him because he will come through for you. That has yet to be the case as Johnson still hasn't found the end zone.

He is slowly improving, but Sunday against the Cleveland Browns he will finally put up strong numbers for his fantasy owners.

Cleveland is much better at stopping the pass, and even though Johnson has yet to look like his old self, the Titans will feed him the ball a lot on Sunday, and he'll make the most of it.

Johnson has let his owners down three weeks in a row now, but he finally breaks through on Sunday against a Browns team allowing 128 rushing yards per game.

Michael Turner

The Atlanta Falcons just couldn't run the ball last week, and once they got in a hole they went to the pass, which really hurt Turner.

In Week 4, the Falcons travel to Seattle to play the Seahawks, and you better believe Turner will be back. Atlanta hasn't been what everyone expected from them this season, but there's nothing like playing the Seahawks for a good pick me up.

The Falcons were supposed to have an explosive offense, and on Sunday we will finally see it. Turner will set the tone early on, and he will put the faith back in all his fantasy owners.

Rashard Mendenhall

Much like Johnson, Mendenhall has yet to breakthrough this season. He had one good week against the Seahawks, but the other two just been awful.

Mendenhall will get things going again in Week 4 against the Houston Texans. The game is on the road where he's struggled, but the Texans run defense isn't all that great.

Houston is allowing running backs to average five yards a carry, and they haven't faced any backs with the talent level of Mendenhall. The Steelers will have to establish a solid run game to run the clock down and keep the Texans' offense off the field.
