Arsenal vs. Olympiakos: Injuries Will Doom Gunners in Champions League Match
Things just haven't gone well in North London since the summer transfer window started.
Now, a little more than a month into the new campaign, Arsenal have an injury report tallying double-digits and a squad that has only earned seven points in English Premier League play.
Simply put, they have more injured players than they do points right now.

UEFA Champions League play has been kinder. They beat Udinese in a playoff to earn a spot in group play and played to a draw with Borussia Dortmund in their opening match.
Today they'll take on Greek outfit Olympiakos at the Emirates hoping to keep their two-game win streak alive. They defeated Shrewsbury Town in Carling Cup play and Bolton in the Premier League this past week.
The injury toll makes things extremely difficult though, and according to Mirror Football, midfielder Alex Song is set to play out of position for the North London club:
"Alex Song will be forced to play as an emergency centre-half after Arsenal suffered another injury blow. French defender Laurent Koscielny and Ivory Coast forward Gervinho were both ruled out on Tuesday - to take the club's list of injured absentees into double figures.
Arsenal are facing a major defensive crisis, as Johan Djourou, Thomas Vermaelen, Sebastien Squillaci are already out, while even youngster Ignasi Miquel suffered a back spasm during the warm-up before a reserve game on Monday.
"
And to make matters even worse, they are without Jack Wilshere, Theo Walcott, Abou Diaby and Yossi Benayoun.
The defending Greek champions, Olympiakos, have never fared well in England though.
They lost their opening Champions League match to French side Marseille, 0-1, but are unbeaten in their two Greek Super League games.
The quality of play is drastically different between Greece and England, but this particular Greek squad has the talent to pull the upset if they play it smart.
Even with all the injuries, predicting a home loss is difficult for a powerhouse like Arsenal, but coming away with only one point is not what the Gunners want either.
The longer Arsenal allow Olympiakos to stay in the match, the harder it's going to get.
The Gunners have to jump out early or the Greek side will find a way to earn their first win in England in ten attempts.
