Fantasy Football Week 13 Rankings: Tight Ends
With just five weeks of football left to play, Kansas City Chiefs' tight end Tony Gonzalez is putting a stranglehold on the top fantasy tight end position. Heading into week 13, Gonzalez has a commanding 19 point lead on the number two tight end, Antonio Gates.
What makes things more impressive is that Gonzalez is doing this at the age of 32 and during a season in which the Chiefs' quarterback position has been anything but steady, that is until the recent hot streak by quarterback, Tyler Thigpen.
Undoubtedly, you can understand why Gonzalez also tops this weeks tight end rankings, but to find out where the remaining tight ends sit, take a gander at the Bruno Boys Fantasy Football Week 13 Tight End Rankings.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
1. Tony Gonzalez (Kansas City Chiefs) @ Oakland
After failing to hit the century mark in each of the Chiefs' first 8 games this season, Gonzalez, with his 113 yards this past week, has now done so in two of the last three weeks.
It's no secret that a big reason for Gonzo's success is the maturation of quarterback, Tyler Thigpen, who now has gone for at least 230 passing yards and two scores in four of the team's last five games. Thigpen is a much better quarterback than he was back when these two teams first met this season, which means, we expect Gonzalez to put up even more than the 9 points he put up then.
Point Projection: 16 points
--------------------
2. Jason Witten (Dallas Cowboys) vs. Seattle
After posting double digit fantasy points in three of the Cowboys' first five games, Witten has gone cold thanks in part to his banged up ribs. While he may only have four points in the his last two outings, we can't suggest you sit him if he's on the field.
Not only is Romo back to form, but the matchup for the Cowboys' passing game is a sweet one for Week 13, as they'll square off with the 31st ranked pass defense of the Seattle Seahawks.
Point Projection: 13 points
--------------------
3. Antonio Gates (San Diego Chargers) vs. Atlanta
Gates has some work to do if he wants to catch Gonzalez for the title of top producing fantasy tight end this season, a match-up against a Falcons defense that ranks 22nd against the pass should help as the Falcons are giving up 230.7 passing yards per game to go along with 14 passing TDs on the year. Enjoy what should be a fruitful day for Gates.
Point Projection: 13 points
--------------------
4. Visanthe Shiancoe (Minnesota Vikings) vs. Chicago
Shiancoe may not be lighting up the fantasy scoreboard with huge weeks, but the Vikings' tight end is more than serviceable with 55 fantasy points through 11 games. Twelve of those 55 points came in Shiancoe's first match-up this season with these very Bears. He has a good shot at matching that output this week as the Bears have yet to figure out how to defend the pass, ranking 30th in the league.
Point Projection: 12 points
--------------------
5. Dustin Keller (New York Jets) vs. Denver
Eight NFL games into his career, Keller had just 13 receptions. Over the past three games, the Jets' tight end has hauled in 20 passes, allowing him to accumulate 28 fantasy points over that span.
It's obvious that Favre now trusts the rookie, and that's good news as we all remember what Favre did for Donald Lee's fantasy stock last season. Against a Broncos' pass defense that ranks 25th in the league, Keller is a solid Week 13 start.
Point Projection: 10 points
--------------------
6. Jerramy Stevens (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) vs. New Orleans
Stevens has flourished with Alex Smith out, putting up eight fantasy points in each of the Bucs last two games. If Smith is out in Week 13, Stevens will make it three solid weeks in a row as the Bucs will face a Saints defense that doesn't play too much defense, ranking ___ in the league.
Point Projection: Nine points
--------------------
7. Greg Olsen (Chicago Bears) @ Minnesota
Olsen netted a disappointing zero catches this past Sunday against the Rams, failing to take advantage of what was a promising matchup. Don't expect that to happen two weeks in a row. The Vikings are susceptible to tight ends, something Olsen demonstrated in Week Seven when he put up 13 fantasy points against Minnesota.
A bounce back week is in store for the Bears' tight end.
Point Projection: Nine points
