Fantasy Football Week 2: How to Bounce Back from a Week 1 Fantasy Failure
Half of you are shaking your head, wondering what the hell just happened.
Don't fret, Week 1 is just that. It's one week in fantasy football. Here are the answers to get you back on track in Week 2.
I was just as frustrated as you. I had the Arizona Cardinals in one league—I was certain that their underrated defense would flummox Cam Newton, who was bewildered in the preseason.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Apparently, Newton was just playing with all of us. The dude showed up in a big way, but please practice temperance. That brings me to rule No. 1 of Week 2.
Easy, Big Fella
Please don't jump on a player that looks pleasing to the eye, only to see him kill your team in Week 2.
Cam Newton is a prime example of this.
The Cardinals had a deplorable day on defense, allowing a rookie to torch them for fine fantasy points.
That will not happen with the Packers. Do your homework before you take a plunge on a Week 1 hero.
Don't Panic
What was good for The Hitchhiker's Guide works well here, too. Players like LeGarrette Blount and Chris Johnson had horrible games.
Some players just fell into a perfect storm that negated them from breaking out in Week 1. Johnson will be a stud, and Blount will get more reps after whining about being underused.
Work the Waiver Wire
The waiver wire can be your best friend. Don't jump into a trade too early when tremendous value can be had for free.
Going by Yahoo Fantasy availability, players like Early Doucet, Ed Dickson and Ryan Fitzpatrick can be had without a fight.
All three offer an immediate boost to fantasy offenses, really.
Follow these three steps, and you are destined to enjoy success this weekend.
