Floyd Mayweather: Twitter Rant Proves Money Lacks Self Control
I woke up this morning and checked my Twitter feed like every other morning to see if I missed anything while I was off in dream land.
Turns out, Floyd Mayweather provided me with plenty to talk about when he began a 5 a.m. Twitter rant.
From Oscar De La Hoya to Victor Ortiz to HBO, Mayweather was sure to get a shot in at everyone.
Here is the timeline of Mayweather's late night Twitter rant,
""I was very unhappy with the second episode of 24/7. HBO needs a new editor. The network does not show the real entertainment."
"We are tired of Victor Ortiz story about his struggles. Its Boring now. Blacks go through life struggles all the time and always RISE"
"HBO needs to give the viewers what they deserve because 24/7 is a highly anticipated show and I don't want to disappoint the viewers..."
"Oscar De la Hoya is trying to stay relevant by admitting to his vices and Victor said he look at that man like "GOD"'
"De La Hoya is a drug user, dresses like a drag, committed adultery and drinks alcohol and Ortiz looks up to this guy."
"If the Ratings go down for 24/7. Its not my fault. I've done my job. HBO show what they want. What do yall think??""And I don't appreciate how Oscar tried to down my brother Tiger Woods"
"
A lot to digest there, huh? For those that haven't heard about De La Hoya's jab at Tiger, the boxer admitted to cheating on his wife, but said "we're not talking a Tiger Woods here," according to The Daily Mail.
To be honest, the so-called jab at Tiger Woods didn't seem like he was trying to bring him down, but that he was making a comparison. That is what happens when you get yourself involved in a sex scandal with dozens of women.
What Mayweather said in this rant was uncalled for, it was immature and his jabs at getting an HBO editor fired are ridiculous.
Money has no idea what it's likes to edit tape, or what HBO will or won't approve of in the show. These are company guidelines the editor is following and there is absolutely no reason to call for that editor's head.
Calling out De La Hoya for dressing in drag, drinking and using cocaine is hypocritical. Mayweather is not perfect, so why should he feel the need to point out Oscar's deficiencies?
It seems like an annual ritual that Mayweather finds himself in handcuffs being charged with a new crime by the Las Vegas police. De La Hoya might be all those things that Money mentioned, but Mayweather is an immature criminal that loses more respect from boxing fans everyday.
