Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
1. Marshawn Lynch
Lynch finally cracked 100 yards in a game, added nearly 60 more through the air, and was able to score. Owners can FINALLY rejoice if they continued to start him. He has the schedule to run against, so hopefully this is a sign of good things to come.
2. Ted Ginn, Jr.
He does it all, and it all ends up in the end zone. Pennington is doing well, and Ginn is becoming a regular at the end of his passes. His 40-yard run was a solid start last week, and he should do well against a beaten Pats secondary.
3. Dustin Keller
I know what I said last week, but he's now had two good weeks in a row. Keller is quickly becoming a favorite target over the middle, has soft hands, and can take a hit.
4. Justin Gage
With Collins throwing the football, Gage is his favorite target. He had two big catches this week and is widely available across all formats.
5. Ryan Grant
Welcome back, Ryan! Grant broke through the 100-yard mark and easily back into fantasy relevance. Jackson stole very few of his touches, and he was able to find the end zone for the Packers. He has some decent matchups, and this can only be a good thing for owners.
Fantasy Down
1. Donovan McNabb
Let's forget for a second that the guy didn't know that they had ties in football. McNabb looked awful against a secondary that had been soundly beaten, and a team that is virtually inept. We all expected big things from the Eagles quarterback, and this was a major disappointment.
2. Trent Edwards
Apparently, someone followed Green Day's advice too closely and was woken up when September ended. Edwards threw three costly interceptions last night and is hesitating on every throw he makes. Just not good.
3. Tim Hightower
J.J. Arrington got all the work and the touchdowns. What happened to the guy that had 100 yards just two weeks ago? He's still the better back to own, but he makes a tough start right now.
4. Jake Delhomme
Ugh. His accuracy problems continue to get worse. This has become very much a run-first team, and that's hurting Delhomme's value.
5. Santana Moss
Double ugh. At some point, Jason Campbell is going to realize that he needs Moss involved in this offense in order to succeed. When he does, Moss is going to be in line for big games. Until that point, we have to stop considering him a top fantasy receiver.
You Shouldn't Trust the Performance of...
...Jabar Gaffney. He drops way too many passes, and Cassel doesn't throw the ball downfield with enough regularity to consider his performance against the Jets anything more than an aberration.
The Pats receivers, in general, are matchup plays. Welker has some good matchups but isn't an every-week standout, except in PPR leagues. Moss should be played every week because of his chances to make big plays, but that hasn't exactly been coming as often as last season. Gaffney is the same type of player. He's solid against weaker secondaries.
I'm Most Concerned About...
...Jake Delhomme. I'm picking on quarterbacks recently, but Delhomme as an option just doesn't make sense for fantasy owners. We can add plenty to this list, especially Edwards and Frerotte, but Delhomme makes the top right now.
His team is relying on Williams and Stewart to do the damage. This isn't a bad thing, but it mitigates the value that his receivers have. Just something to keep in mind as you look at backup quarterbacks and guys to play matchups against.
Workin' the Wire
Tyler Thigpen
37 percent owned, but we still have teams starting Roethlisberger. Amazing. Seriously, add this guy. We're going to say it every week. Just how it is.
Ted Ginn
He was largely shut down by one of the best corners in football, but he still found a way to get himself in to the end zone. 41 percent owned in Yahoo! leagues and able to score enough to make him valuable.
Leon Washington
31 percent owned, so I have to keep saying it. Washington nailed two touchdowns against the Patriots and is used in almost every package imaginable. He gets return yards, catches the ball well out of the backfield, and can certainly be used to run the football as well.
Kerry Collins
Has five touchdowns in his last dating back to Week Nine and is just 18 percent owned. Collins continues to throw the ball, even with this being a run-heavy team. You have to like what he has shown to this point, and teams starting guys like Eli Manning should take notice.
Lance Moore
This may change with Bush potentially coming back against the Packers, but Moore has been targeted with regularity by Brees in recent weeks. Moore is a solid addition to PPR leagues, where his targets benefit owners dramatically. As a flex option, he is a decent addition to most teams.
