Fantasy Football Through Week 10: What Have We Learned?
AFC
Buffalo offensive players are fading.
In the first half of the season, the Bills were among the most pleasant surprises for fantasy owners. QB Trent Edwards seemed to have matured almost instantaneously, compiling a QB rating of over 90 and on pace to throw for nearly 3,500 yards.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Marshawn Lynch was the next "it" back, having scored six early TDs on the season. Lee Evans looked like he was finally living up to the hype fantasy owners had been reaping upon him, going on pace for over 1,300 receiving yards.
So what has happened?
It is difficult to say, but Edwards is starting to throw INTs, Lynch is getting stuffed at the line, and Evans can't get more than 50 receiving yards. It should be evident by now that the Bills were not the offensive juggernaut they appeared to be in the first half, but they should also not be quite this bad.
Look for Edwards, Lynch, and Evans to start getting positive fantasy points again, which means that right now, you may be able to buy low on them.
Wes Welker is back...is Randy Moss?
We knew this season would not be quite the same for New England receivers, not with Tom Brady sidelined for the season. What we did not know is exactly what effect Brady's loss would have on the New England receivers in the fantasy realm.
Right now, the verdict on Moss is impossible to determine. Moss will pile up 100+ receiving yards one day, then follow up with a 26-yard effort the next week. Right now, Moss and Matt Cassel are still not in total sync, so Moss's numbers will remain somewhat erratic until further notice.
No such worries with Welker. Welker, once again, is Mr. Dependable, catching six or more passes in every Patriots game this season. He is on pace for another 115+ catch season, which makes him particularly valuable if your league gives points for number of receptions.
The lesson is, if you want consistency and stability, Welker is still your man. If you are willing to roll the dice a little, then Moss may still be your guy. Assess your needs every week to determine whether you can afford to keep one or the other on your roster or even in your lineup.
