Fantasy Football: QBs on the Rise
Did you draft Brett Favre and now wish you hadn't? Got a brief high from J.T. O'Sullivan and dropped Marc Bulger as a result? Invested your whole draft in Tom Brady, only to see that strategy go straight down the tubes?
Lucky for you, several QBs have stepped up in a year when no QB is truly dominating the landscape. That gives you plenty of opportunity to mix and match, even if we are beyond the halfway point of the season.
If you are looking for a QB, or even if you want to secure a backup in case yours goes down, here are some signal-callers to ponder:

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Joe Flacco (Baltimore Ravens)
I will be the first to tell you that I gave Flacco a zero percent chance of having any fantasy relevance this year. At first, I would have told you that Flacco would not see any playing time this year. After all, we were talking about an extremely raw QB, one who played only two full seasons of Division I-AA football.
Indeed, Flacco was not even supposed to start this year, not with Kyle Boller able to hold the fort for a year while Flacco learned on the job with a clipboard in hand.
It's funny how things work out. Soon thereafter, the Ravens lost Boller for the year and backup Troy Smith went down with an illness.
Next, I would have told you that Flacco would struggle through an unspectacular year at best. Again, Flacco was very raw, and the Ravens did not enter the season envisioning him as the starter. That was supposed to mean a lot of Willis McGahee and Ray Rice, and only a little of Flacco.
Again, funny how things work out.
Flacco went from game manager to bona fide NFL QB in a hurry. After five games which saw Flacco throw one touchdown to seven interceptions, offensive coordinator Cam Cameron has cut him loose. Flacco has responded, throwing for six scores and zero picks in his last four games.
Even if Flacco's completion percentages and yardage totals have not always been or will not always be spectacular, his low interception totals of late are very encouraging.
Considering Cameron's history of working with QBs (putting John Beck aside for the moment), don't be surprised at all if the Ravens get more aggressive and Flacco garners some very positive fantasy points in the latter half of the season.
