WWE's Top 25: Who Made the Cut?
This is a countdown to the WWE's Top 25. The list includes wrestlers, managers and GMs, all of whom have been judged by their work to date. It doesn't place any speculation on their future spot in the company as we are judging from the calendar year to today. With that being said, let's walk that aisle.
25. Shelton Benjamin
One of the most under utilized talents. If Benjamin where to ever improve his mic skills, he would truly live up to his name as the Gold Standard.

24. Big Show
Was the center piece of WWE's mainstream attempt with Floyd Mayweather at Wrestlemania, which was a success, and continues to play an important role on Smackdown.
23. Carlito
One of the most talented and uninspired entertainers on the roster, Carlito looks to turn it up a notch on a brand new show.
22. Jim Ross
Usually an important part of the WWE, and he still is, he took a hit as he switched brands. But he has worked hard to give Smackdown credibility as an elite show and it's back to good ole' J.R.
21. Primo Colon
Two spots ahead of his older brother, Primo was brought up to light a fire under Carlito. And to some extent it's worked. He looks good, helping his big bro look good.
20. Evan Bourne
This high flying show stealer is a refreshing breath of air. He has already challenged for the world title, although it was ECW, and has given WWE a look that TNA has all but abandoned. High flying action.
19. Rey Mysterio Jr.
Originally planned to team up with Money Mayweather, Mysterio has spring boarded since being back from injury. Minus a forgettable set with Kane, the King of the 619 is one hurricanrana from the main event.
18. Beth Phoenix
A queen among girls, the Glamazon works hard to make something out of the none existent women's division.
17. John Morrison
A star waiting to be unleashed. He's the next breakout star in the WWE. Although Miz and Morrison are today's watered down version of the Hollywood Blondes, when he breaks away this time his tag team days will be over.
16. CM Punk
C Me, now you don't, Punk is the most invisible wrestler on the roster. He has the loudest pop, yet he never manages to stay in the spot light log enough. A decent title reign this year, and the "nobody respects me" storyline couldn't be truer.
15. Undertaker
Somehow manages to stay relevant year after year. He's without a doubt the best "big man" in the business and at age 43 he can still go. Don't believe me? Watch Wrestlemania 24.
14. Kofi Kingston
One of many new talent acquisitions, Kingston has captivated us with his athletic ability since day one. One half of the world tag team champions, Kingston has already held gold twice in his short WWE career.
13. Santino Marella
While some say shut up and fight, Marella always has some of the most entertaining segments on TV. From his wacky relationship with Beth Pheonix to his quest for IC immortality, Marella is the perfect mid-level talent.
12. Batista
This might be a surprise for some Animal lovers, but Batista has been coasting under the radar this year. Although he won the highly anticipated battle with Cena and won the WWE title for all of a week, he has not lived up to the hype.
11. Matt Hardy
What a year it has been for V1. Finally reached the brass ring that his younger brother has managed to avoid. Matt is the ECW champion and is doing his best to carry the brand.
10. Ted Dibiase
Big big things are projected for this third generation star. He is already a former tag champ and is the leader of the most dynamic faction in the WWE. His position in the WWE, well, it's Priceless.
9. Randy Orton
Although he's missed a lot of time with injury, Orton has still made his presence felt. One quick boot and he caused Punk to become a former world champ without ever stepping into the ring. He's one of the biggest heels in the industry and was a huge winner at Wrestlemania (although I did miss the weekly update on his health that we got during his first time out due to an injury).
8. Vickie Guerrero
Creeping in at number eight is Smackdown's GM. She has had a vital part in every world title storeyline. So like her or not, she's a big part in the WWE's new flagship show.
7. Jeff Hardy
This is the biggest stretch of the countdown. Jeff missed the first of the year, and his biggest break yet, due to a wellness policy failure. But he did make up for it as he was carried through his short feud with Triple H. His spot here is more for what could've been than what actually happened.
6. JBL
His success outside of the ring has been as big as it is in. JBL has surprised everyone by NOT having a world title run. As one of the top heels on Raw, JBL has finally gotten into shape and looks to continue to feud with the biggest and the best.
5. John Cena
His time is not now. After losing at Wrestlemania, his streak of big show losses continued as far as a Summerslam loss to Batista. But he remains one of the WWE's biggest draws and just like the amazing return at the Rumble, the most loved (and hated) man has already sparked interest with his upcoming return.
4. Triple H
The King of Kings has ruled the WWE over the last decade and looks to make his mark in his new territory, Smackdown. And even though his claim to fame is that he is always in the spot light, it's also his down fall. Regardless, HHH will continue to do what he does best, elevate talent.
3. HBK
Who has had a better year than HBK? Very few. He's been involved in two of the biggest and best storylines in recent years. Starting with the historic match with Ric Flair at 'Mania and culminating with his captivating feud with Y2J. Michaels truly lives up to his name, the Showstopper.
2. Edge
One of the best heels going right now, Edge has been the one to carry Smackdown as the new flagship. More so than JR and even Triple H. Few are able to draw hatred like Edge, and his showmanship starts on the mic and ends with his hand raised in the air. He brought out the best in 'Taker at Wrestlemania and continues to do so with everyone that steps into the ring with him.
1. Chris Jericho
Save me? No he had it right the first time. Y2J has saved the WWE with his recent run. The most captivating and entertaining feud in the last few years, Y2J and HBK have stole the show on every card they appeared on together. Two world title feuds later, Jericho is set to jump into another as he battles the returning John Cena. The Lionheart is finally getting his due, it's just a shame he had to leave for two years to recieve it.
