Formula One: News Weekly
Kimi Raikkonen stated that the 2008 season was "difficult and complicated" but has vowed to fight back in 2009 and challenge for the WDC.
A few poor results and a dry spell in the middle of the season saw Raikkonen slip into 4th place behind Lewis Hamilton, Felipe Massa and Robert Kubica. The finnish driver who won the WDC in 2007 managed to finish in the top three at the last three races of the season allowing him to overtake Robert Kubica on race wins.
Ross Brawn, currently team boss at Honda has said that Lewis Hamilton will be stronger in the next season now he knows how to win and has the taste of a WDC.
The Honda boss left Ferrari in 2007 after winning five championships with Michael Schumacher, so I guess he can spot talent. He said "If he gets close to his next Championship, he will know what to do, he will know how it works out, and he will just be stronger next time around. So it does help."
Lewis Hamilton has suffered a lot of stick from drivers, ex-drivers and fans over his arrogance. Ron Dennis, Mclaren team boss has said that the Mclaren driver and current WDC is not arrogant in the slightest.
With Dennis knowing Lewis almost as well as his father, it'd be wise to listen to what he has to say about Hamilton. "People say Lewis is aggressive, that he's arrogant, but he is not. Definitely not" said Ron.
"He wants to win and sometimes people see that positivity as arrogance - but they're wrong."
Now Lewis has proved his so called "arrogance" and "aggressive" driving skills have gotten him a WDC will the drivers and fans realise its confidence and his winning attitude?
The Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai will now be run on April 19th, the slot usually held by the Bahrain GP. Among other changes, Australia, Malaysia and Japan will have new time slots to accommodate European viewers, starting at 1700 local time for Oz and Malaysia with the Japanese GP starting at 1500.
The new calendar no longer ends in Brazil, it now ends in the new circuit of Abu Dhabi.

FERRARI MECHANIC HEAD-BUTTS SIGN IN ANGER
If you haven't already watched the official FOM re-cap of the Brazilian Grand Prix, I urge you too. Focus on the part where Massa's family are celebrating and watch the Ferrari mechanic head-butt the 'Scuderia Ferrari' sign, which then smashes. Its really, really funny!
