Week 10 Quarterback Rankings
On the quarterback front, Houston Texans starter Matt Schaubhas a torn his MCL and could miss up to a month while Chicago Bears starter Kyle Orton sustained what looked like a serious knee injury in a win over the Detroit Lions.
That’s two more good quarterbacks on the shelf in a season when injuries and inconsistent play have made the quarterback position the most important and volatile in fantasy football.
Now it's time to find out where backups Sage Rosenfels and Rex Grossman rank in our Bruno Boys Fantasy Football Week 10 Quarterback Rankings.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
1. Drew Brees (New Orleans Saints) @ Atlanta
His six touchdowns and just one interception in the last three games show New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is really performing at a level above the rest right now.
It should also be mentioned that Brees has played incredibly well against the Falcons since he’s been with New Orleans. In his last two games against Atlanta, Brees threw for 547 yards with five touchdowns and one interception.
Point Projection: 24 points
2. Kurt Warner (Arizona Cardinals) vs. San Francisco
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner has been known as somewhat of a turnover machine, especially last season. But that stigma should no longer apply. Six of Warner’s 10 turnovers this season came in one game.
At the same time, Warner has thrown two or more touchdowns in every game this season, except for the week one win over San Francisco. Chances are he’ll make up for that the second time around.
Let’s just hope 49ers interim head coach Mike Singletary can keep his pants on for this game.
Point Projection: 23 points
3. Philip Rivers (San Diego Chargers) vs. Kansas City
The San Diego Chargers have been a disappointment this season but quarterback Philip Rivers has been fantastic. He has multiple-touchdown games in all but two of the eight played so far and will continue that this week against the Chiefs.
Kansas City has a terrible defense that ranks 22nd in pass defense, 31st in total yards allowed, and 29th in points allowed. The two week-layoff after playing in London won’t affect Rivers at all.
Point Projection: 21 points
4. Jay Cutler (Denver Broncos) @ Cleveland
After throwing just four interceptions in the first five games, Denver Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler has thrown six in the last three games. To be fair, he’s also thrown five touchdown passes, but it’s clear the lack of a consistent running game is affecting Cutler and the Broncos negatively.
With running back Ryan Torain back in the mix after breaking his elbow during the preseason, the passing game should open up a little bit. Plus, the Broncos are playing the Browns who rank 25th in total yards allowed.
Point Projection: 20 points
5. Aaron Rodgers (Green Bay Packers) @ Minnesota
This is a good matchup for Green Bay and quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The Minnesota Vikings rank 23rd against the pass and 20th in points allowed. The last time the Vikings played a team with any semblance of an offense—and held that team under 20 points—was in the third week of the season when Minnesota beat the Carolina Panthers 20-10.
With the Vikings stubborn against the rush, you can expect the Packers to throw the football early and often.
Point Projection: 19 points
6. Donovan McNabb (Philadelphia Eagles) vs. New York Giants
This game will be the marquee matchup of week 10 and should provide some insight on who is the best team in the NFC.
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb has typically played well against good defenses but it will be interesting to see how well he does against the Giants, who rank in the top five in every major defensive category.
McNabb will get his points, but expect that to come with a few turnovers.
Point Projection: 18 points
7. Brett Favre (New York Jets) vs. St. Louis
New York Jets quarterback Brett Favre has almost as many turnovers (14) as he does touchdowns (15) this season, yet he has helped lead the team to wins in four of the last five games.
Favre has just two touchdowns in the last three games, but expect that to change this week against St. Louis. The Rams are 28th in passing yards allowed, 30th in total yards allowed, and 31st in points allowed. Plus, they are fresh off a beat down by Kurt Warner and the Arizona Cardinals last week.
Point Projection: 17 points
8. David Garrard (Jacksonville Jaguars) @ Detroit
The Jacksonville Jaguars, for whatever reason, are one of those team that will lose a game one week to a team they had no business losing to, only to turn around the following week and throttle their next opponent. That’ll be the case in this game as Detroit possesses one of the worst defenses in all aspects of the game.
The Lions rank 29th against the pass, last in total yards allowed, and last in points allowed. These statistics lead us to believe that Garrard should have no trouble having a field day, even if he struggled against a bad Bengals defense last week.
Point Projection: 17 points
9. Peyton Manning (Indianapolis Colts) at Pittsburgh
The meat grinder of a schedule just continues for the Indianapolis Colts and quarterback Peyton Manning. The last four games the team played Baltimore, Green Bay, Tennessee, and New England yet Manning seemed to fight through it all.
He helped lead the team to wins in two of the four games while throwing seven touchdowns and four interceptions in that span. Pittsburgh features what is arguably the best defense in the league but at this point nothing will faze Manning.
Don’t expect a huge a week, but Manning will get a decent amount of points.
Point Projection: 17 points
10. Matt Ryan (Atlanta Falcons) vs. New Orleans
It’s odd that a rookie quarterback would ever crack the top 10 in the weekly rankings, but that’s a testament to how good Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan already is.
After throwing just two touchdowns in the first four games, Ryan has thrown seven in his last four games. New Orleans is still seeking answers in the secondary, so while Brees and the Saints will put on the best show, Ryan is still a good play this week.
Point Projection: 17 points
