1. Oklahoma State Cowboys (8-0 ATS, 8-1 SU) (LW: 1)

It’s a real sin that the Cowboys probably won’t be able to sneak into the BCS because they’re in the ridiculously difficult Big 12, but sports bettors won’t be bothered if they keep beating the spread. They crushed Iowa State 59-17 last week but will get a much more difficult test next week in Lubbock.

Next Up: Away @ Texas Tech (-4)

2. Penn State Nittany Lions (6-1-1 ATS, 9-0 SU) (LW: 3)

The No. 3 team in the land is licking its chops over the prospects of a Big Ten title and a spot in the BCS championship with just three more wins. Iowa has been a bugaboo to the Nittany Lions though, as it is 6-2 SU and ATS in its L/8 against PSU.

Next Up: Away @ Iowa (-7)

3. Ball State Cardinals (6-1 ATS, 8-0 SU) (LW: 5)

Ball State suddenly has a legitimate chance to bust the BCS party themselves should it run the table, but there’s a lot of football left to be played. Their last home game against Eastern Michigan snapped a streak of three straight covers for the Cards, who have won six straight in Muncie.

Next Up: Home vs. Northern Illinois (-9.5)

4. Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns (7-1 ATS, 5-3 SU) (LW: 7)

The Ragin’ Cajuns won the battle of the two best ATS teams in the Sun Belt over the weekend in a big manner, as they beat the Golden Panthers 49-20 as 12-point favorites. It steps out of conference play this week against UTEP, a team ULL has never met.

Next Up: Home vs. UTEP (-9)

5. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (5-1-1 ATS, 7-2 SU) (LW: 9)

Nobody said that it would be easy for the Jackets, but HC Paul Johnson has gotten it done game after game in his first year at G-Tech. Thanks to a fumble right at the goal line by FSU, the Ramblin’ Wreck knocked off the Noles 31-28 and held on to a push for their bettors. The ACC Coastal crown will probably be on the line this week in Chapel Hill.

Next Up: Away @ North Carolina (+4)

6. Texas Longhorns (7-2 ATS, 8-1 SU) (LW: 2)

Texas found a way to come all the way back from down 19-0 to the Red Raiders in Lubbock, but in the end, it was guns up for T-Tech. WR Michael Crabtree’s 28-yard touchdown grab with 0:01 left gave the Red Raiders a 39-33 victory. The Longhorns have a “get better” game next week, as they haven’t lost to Baylor since 1997.

Next Up: Home vs. Baylor (-25.5)

7. Oklahoma Sooners (6-2 ATS, 8-1 SU) (LW: 10)

The Sooners seem to be the forgotten team in the Big 12 South disaster, but they continued to go about their business last week, crunching Nebraska 62-28. They’ve scored at least 35 points in every game this year and should keep that going next week at Texas A&M.

Next Up: Away @ Texas A&M (-25)

8. Texas Christian Horned Frog s (7-2 ATS, 9-1 SU) (LW: 12)

TCU kept its BCS hopes alive when it beat UNLV 44-14 on Saturday. It’s got a short week to prepare for the biggest game of the year against Utah, a match that will likely decide the winner of the Mountain West. The Horned Frogs are 7-2 ATS in their L/9 against MWC foes.

Next Up: Away @ Utah (-2)

9. Florida Gators (6-2 ATS, 8-1 SU) (LW: 14)

Here come the Gators again... Florida whooped up on its rivals from Georgia 49-10 and now appears to be in the driver’s seat for a march towards the national title. Vanderbilt will likely be just another speed bump on that path, but the ‘Dores are 8-5 ATS against UF since ’95.

Next Up: Away @ Vanderbilt (-24.5)

10. Minnesota Golden Gophers (6-2 ATS, 7-2 SU) (LW: 4)

The six-game cover streak for the Gophers ended with a thud at home against Northwestern last week. They’ll have a chance to capture the Little Brown Jug for just the second time since 1995 next week against the lowly Wolverines.

Next Up: Home vs. Michigan (-7.5)

11. Tulsa Golden Hurricane (6-2 ATS, 8-1 SU) (LW: 6)

Tulsa’s BCS dreams were dashed by the Razorbacks last week, falling just short in its 30-23 defeat. Arkansas “held” the Tulsa offense to 528 total yards, which dropped its average yards per game to a mere 593.

Next Up: Bye

12. Vanderbilt Commodores (6-2 ATS, 5-3 SU) (LW: 11)

The quest for bowl eligibility for Vandy continues on Saturday, but things probably won’t be the easy for the Commodores. The Gators are coming to town, and they haven’t lost to the Commodores in 16 consecutive seasons.

Next Up: Home vs. Florida (+24.5)

13. Florida International Golden Panthers (6-2 ATS, 3-5 SU) (LW: 8)

FIU ran into a buzzsaw last week against Louisiana-Lafayette, dropping 49-20. The loss snapped a five-game cover streak for the Golden Panthers, who return home next week for just the third time this season.

Next Up: Home vs. Arkansas State (+3)

14. Northern Illinois Huskies (5-2 ATS, 5-3 SU) (LW: 13)

The Huskies were off last week but now have the daunting task of traveling to Muncie to take on the undefeated Cardinals. Though they’ve dropped two of their L/3 games ATS, they’re 4-0 ATS on the road this season.

Next Up: Away @ Ball State (+9.5)

15. Air Force Falcons (6-2 ATS, 7-2 SU) (LW: 15)

No one recorded more than 42 yards of offense for the Falcons against Army, but it wasn’t a worry for Air Force bettors. The Falcons won 16-7, narrowly covering the 7.5-point spread. They’re still alive for the MWC title but will need to take out Colorado State next week to keep in the hunt.

Next Up: Home vs. Colorado State (-10)

16. Duke Blue Devils (5-2 ATS, 4-4 SU) (LW: 17)

The Dookies are going to kick themselves for not putting Wake Forest away when they had them down. Instead they lost 33-30 in overtime and are still in search of two more victories to reach bowl eligibility. They’ve still had a fantastic season against the spread, as the five wins are just one shy of last season’s total.

Next Up: Home vs. North Carolina State (-4.5)

17. Temple Owls (6-2-1 ATS, 3-6 SU) (LW: 20)

Temple moved to 3-1 ATS in non-conference games when it stuck within the eight-point spread against Navy by losing 33-27 in overtime. It’ll have two weeks to prepare for Kent State, a team it is 0-2 ATS against since joining the MAC.

Next Up: Bye

18. Arizona Wildcats (6-2 ATS, 5-3 SU) (LW: 22)

The Wildcats were off this week and have fantastic news for the week to come. They’re set to take on Washington State, the only team in America who has yet to cover a spread this year.

Next Up: Away @ Washington State (-39)

19. North Carolina State Wolfpack (5-2 ATS, 2-6 SU) (LW: 24)

ACC play hasn’t been a thing of beauty for HC Tom O’Brien since coming to NCSU from Boston College. His Wolfpack are now losers of six straight in conference, but the good news is that they’re a perfect 4-0 ATS this season.

Next Up: Away @ Duke (+4.5)

20. California Golden Bears (6-2 ATS, 6-2 SU) (LW: NR)

Thanks to a 5-0 SU and ATS home record, Cal is in contention for the Pac-10 title. Unfortunately, the Bears head to USC next week to do battle with the Trojans with their Rose Bowl hopes on the line.

Next Up: Away @ Southern California (+17)

21. Boise State Broncos (5-2 ATS, 8-0 SU) (LW: NR)

Boise State spanked New Mexico State 49-0 to run its winning streak to eight games. The Broncos are probably four wins away from a return trip to the BCS and will start that quest against a Utah State team that they’re a perfect 8-0 ATS against since 1997.

Next Up: Home vs. Utah State (-31.5)

22. Southern California Trojans (5-3 ATS, 7-1 SU) (LW: NR)

USC is starting to look like a real championship squad again, and it's thanks to their defense. They gave up 27 points to Oregon State back on Sept. 25 but have only allowed 30 points to the other seven teams on their schedule. They’ll get a better test this week from a Cal squad that averages 36.4 points per game.

Next Up: Home vs. California (-17)

23. Texas Tech Red Raiders (4-2-1 ATS, 9-0 SU) (LW: NR)

The guns are all up in Lubbock. Texas Tech knocked off the Longhorns 39-33 on Saturday night and is now ranked No. 2 in the BCS. It was the second straight cover for the Red Raiders, who have another big time showdown with Oklahoma State, the only undefeated ATS team in the nation, this weekend.

Next Up: Home vs. Oklahoma State (-4)

24. Alabama Crimson Tide (6-3 ATS, 9-0 SU) (LW: NR)

After a long absence, Alabama returns to the power poll after rolling Arkansas State 35-0 over the weekend. It’ll be a homecoming for HC Nick Saban when the Tide roll into the Bayou to do battle with LSU. They are 4-0 ATS in games away from Tuscaloosa this season.

Next Up: Away @ LSU (-3)

25. Rice Owls (6-3 ATS, 6-3 SU) (LW: NR)

Rice has now covered three straight games after beating UTEP 49-44 as short favorites on Saturday. The Owls scored at least 40 points in each of those games and should be headed to their second bowl game in over two decades. They’re a perfect 3-0 SU and ATS at home this season and will play their final three games in the comfort of their own backyard.

Next Up: Home vs. Army (-9.5)

Dropped Out: Iowa (16), Army (18), San Jose State (19), Troy (21), Oregon State (23), Notre Dame (25)
