Breaking News: OSU Terrelle Pryor Subject of New Investigation
As if things couldn't get bad enough, hours after OSU coach Jim Tressel announces his resignation from Ohio State, star quarterback Terrelle Pryor is under a new investigation for receiving more improper benefits.
According to The Columbus Dispatch, sources state that Pryor has been receiving cars and other benefits in exchange for signed memorabilia.
This investigation may date back to 2008, when Pryor first arrived on campus. Allegedly, Pryor has been seen driving new, expensive cars that he did not purchase; rather, car salesman Aaron Kniffin has helped Pryor when situations arose. For example, Kniffin allowed Pryor to drive Kniffin's SUV back to Pryor's hometown in Pennsylvania.
According to Kniffin, Pryor's mother was looking at purchasing the vehicle. However, she did not.
In addition, Pryor was given a 2009 Dodge rental to drive while his own vehicle was in the shop. Several signed OSU jerseys hang in Kniffin's office, including one autographed by Pryor.
When asked, Pryor responded: "I sign a lot of stuff for Buckeye fans - I don't like to turn down fans. But I don't do it to get any favors or discounts."
Sports Illustrated has been hinting that a breaking story has been brewing for months, and it is supposed to be released on the website later tonight or tomorrow.
Is this the end of Pryor's career at Ohio State?
