English Premier League Weekly Predictions: Week 38
It's the final week of the season, and madness is going to ensue this Sunday.
Sure, the top of the table is practically set (Arsenal and Manchester City are still trying to go straight to the Champions League group stage), but look at the bottom!
While I send my condolences to West Ham United, there are five teams that are still trying to avoid the final two relegation spots.

Every team has some control over their own destiny (Blackpool and Wigan will have to win big if they want to escape on goal differential), and there should be no excuses once the season is over.
MATCH OF THE WEEK
Aston Villa 2 Liverpool 4: Both of these teams struggled early on, and they have (somewhat) reversed their fortune.
Liverpool have improved much more than Villa, but each squad is hoping they will compete for a top four finish next season.
This could possibly Ashley Young's final match for Aston Villa, and unfortunately for Villa fans, I don't think it's going to be a fairy-tale ending.
OTHER MATCHES
Bolton 1 Manchester City 2: The city of Manchester has been celebrating for nearly a week now, and that celebration will continue when Manchester City locks up a top-three finish (possibly a top two if some insanity takes place). I don't think Bolton will stand in their way.
Everton 0 Chelsea 1: This game should be pretty one-sided, for Everton should be content letting Chelsea attack. Their defense is strong enough to hold of the Blues, and I think that if they get a good counter-attack, Everton could finish their season with a victory. Still, Chelsea are too strong to lose this match.
Fulham 1 Arsenal 2: The Gunners are due for a win, right? Well, that may be an ambitious thought, but I think they are too talented to finish the season with three points in their final five games. That being said, they got booed out of Emirates last week, and that disaster could continue at Craven Cottage this week.
Manchester United 2 Blackpool 3: I don't care what you say. Blackpool are simply too fun to watch. They deserve another season in the Premiership. Manchester United already won the league. They do not need points. This just feels right.
Newcastle United 2 West Bromwich Albion 1: I talk about it every week, but Peter Odemwingie continues to create goals. Nevertheless, I think Newcastle completes its successful return to the Premier League with a victory to end the season.
Stoke City 2 Wigan Athletic 1: Wigan will be desperate, but I think Stoke are just too tough. Still, if Stoke has a letdown after suffering two tough defeats to Manchester City, Wigan could keep their Premier League dreams alive.
Tottenham Hotspur 1 Birmingham City 0: Spurs have struggled recently, but they are simply too talented to lose to Birmingham. A draw is not out of the question, but I anticipate Spurs to have a successful ending to their up and down season.
West Ham United 1 Sunderland 0: In a relatively dull contest, I think the Hammers will salvage some pride with a home victory to end their disappointing season.
Wolves 3 Blackburn 1: A few weeks ago, Wolves seemed destined for relegation. After a reversal of form, they have cleared themselves of the drop zone, and a win this week will guarantee them safety. Blackburn also need a win to guarantee safety, which could result in this game going any direction, but I think Wolves' superior form at home will give them at least one more year in the Premier League.
Last Week: 4-4-2 (W-L-D)
Season: 163-86-91 (W-L-D)
Well, these are my final predictions for the season. I hope you have enjoyed reading my predictions as much as I have enjoyed writing them.
It's been a fun season, and the relegation battle has proven that the season is not quite over. It is sure to be a fun last day, and I am excited to watch.
Thanks for reading. As always, feel free to give me any feedback on my predictions that you may have.
