UFC Fight Night 24: Live Play-by-Play and Results Slideshow Blog
Just one week after Jon Jones captured the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship at UFC 128 in Newark, New Jersey, the UFC is packing its bags and traveling cross-country to Seattle, Washington for UFC Fight Night 24.
After Tito Ortiz was forced to withdraw from the main event due to injury, rising prospect Phil Davis has stepped in to meet one of the biggest names in the sport: Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.
While this is an excellent opportunity for Davis to become a light heavyweight contender, it is also a very important fight to win for Nogeuira, who hasn't looked great in either of his last two fights.
UFC Fight Night 24 also features a fight between Dan Hardy and Anthony Johnson. After losing by an embarrassing knockout in front of an English audience at UFC 120, Hardy needs a win over Johnson to remain a contender in the welterweight division.
Johnson, on the other hand, has been inactive for more than a year due to a knee injury.
Bleacher Report will provide live play-by-play and results of all the action, which includes a rematch of the 2010 Fight of the Year between Leonard Garcia and Chan Sung Jung.
Coverage begins around 6 p.m. ET.
