NFL Players Mike'd Up: Ray Lewis, Tim Tebow and the Top 10 Sound FX Videos

Zack PumerantzJun 4, 2018

From the thick perspiration running down a coach's forehead to the bloody pads that rest on players' shoulders, television networks give fans a remarkable view of an NFL game. But they still rarely hear the vocal exchanges between players and coaches.

The minutia of their craft is developed by what occurs between teammates on the field vocally.

Fans love to hear their favorite athletes being "mic'd up" to see what kind of natural personality they really have when they're not under the pressure of an interview.

From humble Matthew Stafford to egotistical Terrell Owens, athletes of all types embrace the opportunity to be heard.

This list is a compilation of the top 10 best sounds from NFL players. called "Sound FX," these athletes have been recorded, giving fans a real opportunity to see what kind of teammates they are.

Enjoy!

10. Tashard Choice Tries Singing

1 of 10

Hey Tashard, keep your day job, unless it's singing.

Choice has solidified himself as a potent deep threat and a consistently stable running back in the Dallas rotation.

Now we can hear him.

9. Matthew Stafford Ready for the Challenge

2 of 10

If this Georgia quarterback could only stay healthy, he has the potential to be the best young signal callers of the next generation that has entered the league.

It has to be noted that Stafford knows how to keep his offensive lineman happy.

However, his lineman need to give him more protection for him to continue to lead them.

8. Vernon Davis Has His Hands Full

3 of 10

It's not a good sign that Davis was said to "have his hands full" with the Raiders.

While Davis' career began poorly, he has found his way and learned the intracases of playing the tight end position in the NFL.

The athletic phenom has a long and successful career ahead of him.

Less weights and more catching drills please.

7. Steve Smith Keeping Focus

4 of 10

While the past few years have been tough for the Panthers and their fans, Smith has continued to be their main guy.

Not only does he fight for every yard, he is an underrated blocker and tough as nails.

He is a leader on a team full of inexperienced youth.

In a league full of arrogant receivers, Smith is one of the more humble ones, despite speaking his mind.

At least the Panthers have the first pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.

6. Chris Johnson Keeps Running

5 of 10

When Johnson entered the league, he was known for his speed (4.24 40-yard-dash) and elusiveness.

However, he has established himself as an MVP candidate each year and is the heart and soul of the Titans.

He has proved he can run in between the tackles, lower his shoulder against defenders and speak his mind when necessary.

A humble player, Johnson is seemingly on his way to getting his name cemented in Canton, Ohio.

5. Chad Johnson...Ochocinco...No Wait It's Johnson

6 of 10

The most vocal receiver in the league, Chad Johnson has slowly fallen off in recent years.

Once a prolific talent who could back his talk up with his play, Johnson has been average, while the Bengals have been terrible.

A man who will do or say anything for attention, Johnson's decreasing production hasn't taken him away from his chatty ways.

4. T.O. Feels Disrespected

7 of 10

Apparently it's disrespectful to play Terrell Owens one-on-one.

T.O. could push Chad Johnson for haughtiest receiver in the league.

Either way, this guy is always entertaining, albeit annoying.

3. the Young Bucs

8 of 10

A team on the rise, the Buccaneers are a young group of hungry players and fiery coaches.

Raheem Morris, only 35 years old, led his squad to a 10-6 record last year. Many are predicting a playoff appearance next season.

They just sound motivated.

Only time will tell what they are made of.

2. Tim TeBRO

9 of 10

This guy is a legend at the University of Florida and is starting to build a fan base in Denver.

The fact that the Broncos are reportedly starting Kyle Orton next season is baffling.

While this team is rebuilding, give the TeMan time to develop.

A kind and gentle human being, Tebow has the heart of a lion.

1. Ray Ray Wired

10 of 10

Ray Lewis is the ultimate motivator and the best linebacker in the game of the past decade.

An absolute beast, this guy has intimidated offensive players for years.

Perhaps the most intimidating man in America.
