2011 NFL Offseason Two-a-Days: The New England Patriots
5. Is Tom Brady clearly the best QB in the NFL?
He won the MVP Award unanimously in 2010.
If that doesn't scream best quarterback in the NFL, I'm not sure what does.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
4. Is New England's defense headed in the right direction?
They are a very young defense.
Linebacker Jerod Mayo led the team in tackles with 175—Mayo is 25.
Cornerback Devin McCourty led the team in interceptions with seven and made it to the Pro Bowl—he is 23.
Twenty-nine year old Mike Wright led the team with 5.5 sacks; that's obviously a weakness, that I'll get to in question No. 2.
However, the point here is that they are young.
3. What was the more disappointing season for the Patriots: 2007 or 2010?
Losing in the Super Bowl, after an undefeated run up until then has to be more disappointing. They were steam rolling through seemingly everybody at the time.
They weren't expected to do much in 2010; in fact, they overachieved.
Now, halfway through the season people began jumping on the bandwagon, but I'll say 2007.
2. What is the Patriots number one priority in the NFL Draft and/or free agency?
As mentioned in No. 4, it's defensive end. Cameron Jordan from California would fit into New England's 3-4 scheme.
Outside linebacker is also a need. Boston College's Mark Herzlich is a local guy, has good character and fits in Belicheck's 3-4.
1. After a 14-2 season, is the Patriots stock rising or falling?
Like the Falcons earlier, I'll say they have a better team, but worse record.
Stock rising.
