Cincinnati Bengals: Attention, NFL, This Team Is NOT a Joke!

Russell WightJan 26, 2011

The Cincinnati Bengals are not a joke. Jokes are funny. They make you laugh and often bring a smile to your face. The Bengals do not bring a smile to my face. Instead, they have me reaching for a bottle of antacids.

This year’s 4-12 record was tough to swallow, especially coming off of a division title and entering the 2010 season with such high expectations. However, as a sports fan, I understand that your team is not going to be successful all the time.

Whatever.

Like I said, this isn’t a joke. Being a Bengals fan is frustration, disappointment, anger and depression all rolled together. It is the epitome of misery.

Watching Mike Brown completely destroy the franchise his father built has been one of the saddest stories in all of sports.

And he ain’t done yet…
