Antonio Cromartie Doesn't Like Tom Brady and Doesn't Mind Telling Everyone

Tom EdringtonJan 12, 2011

Antonio Cromartie had some choice words for Tom Brady.

Seems the Jets cornerback sure doesn't like Mr. GQ.

Asked about Brady, Cromartie shot back:  "Ass----!"

"I've been called worse," said the cool signal caller for the Patriots. "I'm sure there is a long list of people that feel that way," said the man who the Jets dislike for the gestures he made toward the New York sideline during that December 6 massacre in New England.

Well, what this all means is that the game must be getting a lot closer, and the boys on both sides are ready to go.

Brady's already on the record with "I hate the Jets." So we know where Tom stands in all of this junior high school banter that's going back and forth.

Does anyone out there honestly think it makes any difference if NFL players go around calling each other names?

Heaven forbid, don't let the Commish find out, there might be fines for goodness sakes. We simply cannot have professional athletes calling each other names, can we?

Now the New York papers will have fun with this one. The nerve of that Cromartie guy, calling people names.

This playoff business really brings out some emotions, doesn't it?

Next thing you know, Rex Ryan will reveal that he has yet another fetish.

You can blame this whole mess on Brady. Pointing at the Jets, throwing another touchdown pass when he was already crushing them and having fun on the field. But the nerve of him, he actually POINTED at the bench.

"We see that a lot. He does it a lot," claims Cromartie. "That's the kind of guy he is. We really don't give a damn to tell you the truth."

Well, Antonio might tell us he doesn't give a damn, but it sure sounds like he does.

The nerve of that guy Brady, POINTING at the Jets' bench. What will he think of next? Next thing you know, he'll complete another bomb and let loose with a Na-Na-Na-Boo-Boo at the Jets secondary. Now there's fighting words.

Yes, Brady's got to be loving every bit of this. It's always good to know you're getting under someone's skin, you know, upsetting them a bit, getting them so darn angry that they're actually calling you not-nice names.

Oh for the love of Lucy, these potty-mouth NFL guys, what will they come up with next?

And how naive we are to think Rex was the only one throwing around flowery language. It's good to see Cromartie isn't letting his coach hog the expletives.

In fact, Ryan thinks his guys may simply be following his lead.

"Yeah, of course," said the rotund one. "Maybe they do follow my lead in the fact that we can say what's on our minds or whatever."

So now that Antonio Cromartie has told us what's on his mind, and now that we know Tom Brady hates the Jets and that Rex Ryan wants to kick Bill Belichick's ass, can we all just take one deep breath?

Yes, Cromartie says Tom Brady's an "ass-----!."

But that's not the Jets' biggest problem.

The problem for the guys in green and white, on top of everything else, is that this Tom Brady guy is a damn good quarterback.

And therein lies the problem for Antonio Cromartie and the rest of the New York secondary.

Good luck fellas.
