Metrodome in Minnesota Collapses After 17.1 Inches of Snow
Who would have thought that the Twins made the right move?
On Saturday Night, the roof of Herbert H. Humphrey Metrodome collapsed and all the 17.1 inches of snow fell onto the field.
The Giants-Vikings game was scheduled for 1 P.M. ET Sunday, but the Giants were stuck in Kansas City on Saturday, so they pushed the game off to Monday Night.

Meanwhile, the snowstorm had the final say as the roof collapsed sending all the snow into the Metrodome.
So now, with Brett Favre able to get more rest for Mondays game, the Giants and Vikings will be playing their game at Ford Field in Detroit, home to the Lions. The Vikings will still be the home team.
This also helps the Giants two best receivers, Steve Smith and Hakeem Nicks, get healthier for the game. They were supposed to play anyway though.
Favre said that he would not have played if the game was on Sunday, so he is the happiest of all of them, as he can extend his consecutive games started streak.
And thank G-d no workers were on the field at the time of the collapse.
Questions arise, as now what the Vikings will do with another Monday night game next week against the Bears in Minnesota. It should be very interesting.
This will be the first time in history that there will be two Monday Night games besides Week 1.
History will be made tomorrow night in Detroit as the Giants take on the Vikings at the Lions stadium.
Vikings' principal owner Zygi Wilf has made his desire for a new stadium known for years with no tangible success.
The Vikings continue to seek state funding in hopes of building a new facility.
Unless something can be worked out soon, there is a chance Wilf could at least explore options of moving his franchise elsewhere.
The Vikings' lease on the Metrodome, also known as Mall of America Field, expires following the 2011 season.
