Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers QB, Suffers Concussion Week 14 Vs Detroit Lions
Aaron Rodgers, one of the game’s best quarterbacks and potential MVP candidate, was forced out of the Week 14 division matchup against the Detroit Lions with a concussion.
On a nice run late in the second quarter, Rodgers was hit by Landon Johnson and banged his head on the ground to cause the concussion.
Rodgers is not expected to return.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Rodgers had completed seven of 11 passes for 46 yards and an interception, which was the result of a tipped pass by Greg Jennings that should have been caught.
Backup Matt Flynn will take his place, and is in his third season out of LSU. He appeared in very limited time for the Packers last year and threw an interception against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 17.
Rodgers was enjoying an excellent season and was considered a potential MVP candidate for leading the Packers to an 8-3 record and fighting for the NFC North lead.
He had completed 65.4 percent of his passes for 3,243 yards, 23 touchdowns and just nine interceptions. He has also added 284 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.
With Green Bay striving to return to the playoffs, they need to hope Rodgers can play next week against the New England Patriots.
Hopefully for Packer Nation, Rodgers will be just fine and will have only suffered a mild concussion because it is doubtful that Matt Flynn will be able to lead the Packers to the Super Bowl.
If Rodgers is actually forced to miss time, the Packers’ hopes and dreams of a Super Bowl will have been left at Ford Field.
