Washington Redskins (Redskins Schedule)

Opponent Defensive Ranks

New York Giants Pass Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 1st - TDs Allowed T-8th

New York Giants Rush Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game T-9th – TDs Allowed T-13th

Washington Offensive Cast

Donovan McNabb (QB Week 13 Ranking: Not ranked)

2010 Season: 227/393 – for 2,853 yards & 11 TDs

McNabb has thrown a touchdown pass in each of his last 10 games.  The problem is, in nine of those games, he threw for just that one.  Now THAT’S McNasty.

Ryan Torain (RB Week 13 Ranking: Not ranked)

2010 Season: 91 carries for 391 yards & 3 TDs || 8 receptions for 55 yards & 1 TD

Torain has a slim chance to make it back this week, but even if he does, you can’t use him against this dominant Giants defense.

Keiland Williams (RB Week 13 Ranking: Not ranked)

2010 Season: 52 carries for 200 yards & 3 TDs || 28 receptions for 183 yards & 2 TDs

Keiland looked pretty bad last week against the Vikings, but that might have had just as much to do with Shanahan’s play-calling as it does with Williams’ average talent-level.  Look elsewhere this week, especially with the injuries along the 'Skins offensive line.

Santana Moss (WR Week 13 Ranking: No. 33)

2010 Season: 62 receptions for 778 yards & 3 TDs

The Redskins are going to have to pass the ball if they want a shot at winning this one, so Santana could sneak in a decent fantasy game here.

Anthony Armstrong (WR Week 13 Ranking: Not ranked)

2010 Season: 25 receptions for 545 yards & 1 TD

Armstrong has had a few decent weeks this season, but hasn’t been consistent enough to depend on him as a starter for your team.

Chris Cooley (TE Week 13 Ranking: No. 16)

2010 Season: 54 receptions for 603 yards & 2 TDs

Cooley continues to see a ton of targets from McNabb (he led the team with eight last week), though his production is still a little on the light side.  Again, McNabb will have to pass the ball to win this game, so Cooley should have another chance to prove himself this week.

New York Giants (Giants Schedule)

Opponent Defensive Ranks

Washington Pass Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 29th - TDs Allowed T-18th

Washington Rush Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 26th – TDs Allowed T-13th

New York Giants Offensive Cast

Eli Manning (QB Week 13 Ranking: No. 9)

2010 Season: 245/376 – for 2,821 yards & 23 TDs

Even after losing his WR1, WR2, WR4 and WR5, Eli found a way to put up his seventh straight multi-TD game last week.  The Redskins pass D is really really bad, so it wouldn’t surprise me to see his streak continue.  Don’t expect a ton of yards though as the Giants may run the ball all day long.

Ahmad Bradshaw (RB Week 13 Ranking: No. 13)

2010 Season: 194 carries for 916 yards & 5 TDs || 32 receptions for 231 yards & 0 TDs

Bradshaw was demoted to second-string last week, but he still managed to secure 13 touches to Jacobs’ 14 on the day.  Not just that, but he also saw the ball around the goal-line over Jacobs, so he could be climbing back into the good graces of Coach Coughlin.  Watch him break a couple of long runs this week en route to a nice fantasy day for your team.

Brandon Jacobs (RB Week 13 Ranking: No. 18)

2010 Season: 92 carries for 474 yards & 5 TDs || 7 receptions for 59 yards & 0 TDs

Jacobs got his chance to start last week and actually performed pretty well (14 carries, 87 yards).  However, not getting the goal-line touches raises a huge red flag for me, but he should still be able to rattle off some good stats this week against a crappy Washington defense.

Hakeem Nicks (WR Week 13 Ranking: Not ranked)

2010 Season: 62 receptions for 800 yards & 9 TDs

Nicks will be out for at least one more week, and possibly longer than that.  Keep him stashed on your bench and hope for a return during your fantasy playoffs.

Steve Smith II (WR Week 13 Ranking: Not ranked)

2010 Season: 47 receptions for 517 yards & 3 TDs

Smitty should be out for another one this weekend.  However, he was able to do a little bit at practice on both Wednesday and Thursday, so even though you should continue to check the news at www.pyromaniac.com or www.ffpharmacy.com to see what his story is, don't expect him to be active come Sunday.

Mario Manningham (WR Week 13 Ranking: No. 15)

2010 Season: 41 receptions for 561 yards & 5 TDs

Manningham will be in the driver’s seat for some nice fantasy points again this weekend with both Nicks and Smith out.  If he doesn’t come close to around 100 yards with a touchdown on Sunday, I’ll eat my laptop.

Derek Hagan (WR Week 13 Ranking: Not ranked)

2010 Season: 5 receptions for 31 yards & 1 TD

Hagan looked pretty bad out there as the WR2 last weekend, but my guess is he’ll get another shot at it regardless.  He’s still probably not worth playing, especially with Michael Clayton now in the fold.

Kevin Boss (TE Week 13 Ranking: No. 5)

2010 Season: 24 receptions for 392 Yards & 3 TDs

Boss should be the one Manning will depend on to pick up the slack again this weekend, so after his 74-yard, one-TD output last game, don’t be scared to start him once more.
