Jacksonville Jaguars (Jaguars Schedule)

Opponent Defensive Ranks

Tennessee Pass Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 26th - TDs Allowed T-8th

Tennessee Rush Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 17th – TDs Allowed T-1st

Jacksonville Offensive Cast

David Garrard (QB Week 13 Ranking: No. 14)

2010 Season: 165/249 – for 1,856 yards & 17 TDs

Garrard is another nice surprise this year in the world of fantasy football, and though he might not win you your week, he’s been doing well enough to keep you afloat if your normal starters went down to injury.  He’s thrown for two or more TDs in five of the last seven games, so if you’re up for playing the odds, this won’t be too bad of a week to do so against a middling Tennessee pass D.

Maurice Jones-Drew (RB Week 13 Ranking: No. 8)

2010 Season: 230 carries for 991 yards & 4 TDs || 28 receptions for 272 yards & 2 TDs

MJD has rattled off four straight 100-yard games now with a TD in two of them, so go ahead and ride him while he’s hot.  Another 100-yard effort is easily within his reach, but the Titans have been super-stingy in allowing rushing TDs, so don’t expect all-world fantasy numbers this week.

Mike Sims-Walker (WR Week 13 Ranking: Not ranked)

2010 Season: 36 receptions for 466 yards & 4 TDs

Sims-Walker has been ruled out for this contest due to a set-back he incurred during practice this week.

Mike Thomas (WR Week 13 Ranking: No. 40)

2010 Season: 52 receptions for 618 yards & 3 TDs

Thomas is still getting a ton of targets and catches in this offense, and I don’t expect it to slow down in this game.  Six catches for 60-plus yards sounds about right.

Marcedes Lewis (TE Week 13 Ranking: No. 6)

2010 Season: 38 receptions for 481 yards & 8 TDs

Not only is Marcedes Lewis huge (6’6”, 275 pounds), but he’s also relatively fluid as a receiver.  The Titans are in the bottom quarter of the league in allowing fantasy points to tight ends, so Lewis looks to be a good play this week.

Tennessee Titans (Titans Schedule)

Opponent Defensive Ranks

Jacksonville Pass Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 28th - TDs Allowed T-28th

Jacksonville Rush Defense – 2010: Yards Allowed/Game 20th – TDs Allowed T-28th

Tennessee Offensive Cast

Kerry Collins (QB Week 13 Ranking: Not ranked)

2010 Season: 62/107 – for 638 yards & 5 TDs

It’s looking like Collins will be healthy enough to suit up this week, and boy are the Titans loving that.  He’s not even close to a fantasy play, but he sure does make everyone else on the team a whole lot more enticing.

Rusty Smith (QB Week 13 Ranking: Not ranked)

2010 Season: 20/40 – for 200 yards & 0 TDs

Well, at least you can tell your grandkids that you once played in an NFL game back in the day.

Chris Johnson (RB Week 13 Ranking: No. 3)

2010 Season: 223 carries for 973 yards & 9 TDs || 27 receptions for 105 yards & 0 TDs

Not many people can stop Chris Johnson, but when you combine Rusty Smith and Jeff Fisher, you pretty much have an unbeatable combination.  Last week was an absolute nightmare for CJ28 owners, but believe me, with Kerry Collins coming back against this Jacksonville defense, Johnson should be able to get you back all those points you lost last week and more.

Randy Moss (WR Week 13 Ranking: No. 42)

2010 Season: 26 receptions for 362 yards & 5 TDs

I never thought the Mossman could fall so far so quickly, but it seems I was wrong.  Screw the theory that he’s only being used as a decoy.  The fact is, he doesn’t have the explosiveness anymore to beat defenders like he used to and it’s becoming as apparent as can be in the stat-column.  I hate to say it, but if you have any better options on your team, even against this Jacksonville defense, use it.

Nate Washington (WR Week 13 Ranking: No. 34)

2010 Season: 30 receptions for 504 yards & 5 TDs

One of the biggest reasons why people are calling Moss a “decoy” is because Washington’s numbers have gone up since he arrived.  Sure, he definitely benefits from the attention paid to old Randy, but you can’t take away from the fact that he IS getting open.  The Titans have learned that they can’t solely depend on Chris Johnson, so go ahead and take a chance on Nate if you’re looking for a dark horse this week.

Justin Gage (WR Week 13 Ranking: Not ranked)

2010 Season: 17 receptions for 234 yards & 0 TDs

His chances of showing up each week are akin to your chances at a roulette table, if you catch my drift.

Bo Scaife (TE Week 13 Ranking: Not ranked)

2010 Season: 31 receptions for 291 yards & 2 TDs

The Jags are pretty poor at defending tight ends (allow the seventh most fantasy points to TEs in the league), so if you had Dallas Clark and Owen Daniels on your team and you’re looking for something that might produce this week, Bo might do a little something for you.
