Fantasy Football Week 13 Waiver Wire Picks From the Top Experts
WIDE RECEIVERS
Each week at FFSpin.com, we scour the injury reports and analyze the box scores to offer up some players that are primed for fantasy success but could be available on the fantasy waiver wire. Four offenses (San Diego, Indianapolis, Denver, and Dallas) are averaging over 275 passing yards per game. Conversely, the four worst passing games (averaging less than 180 passing yards per game) abound in Seattle, Kansas City, Arizona, and Carolina.
The top 5 passing defenses can be found in New Orleans, New York Giants, Oakland, San Diego, and Carolina, meaning that Santana Moss (@ NYG) , Mike Williams (vs Carolina) and TO/OCHO (vs NO) could struggle in week 13.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The worst pass defenses (surrendering over 260 yards/game) exist in Jacksonville, New England, Seattle, Washington and Houston. DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin could each produce top 10 numbers on Thursday night against Houston's 31st ranked pass defense. Santonio and Braylon should excel on Monday Night against a New England defense allowing over 275 passing yard per contest. Mario Manningham has a prime matchup vs Washington as Steve Smith and Hakeem Nicks continue to be sidelined.
With only one week remaining before most fantasy playoffs (weeks 14-16), it's worth analyzing the remaining NFL schedule to determine which teams face defenses that have been shredded by opposing passing games and which teams face a bevy of formidable pass defenses.
Best Playoff WR schedules (Weeks 14-16): Tampa, Tennessee, Washington, Denver, Oakland
Worst Playoff WR schedules (Weeks 14-16): Minnesota, NY Jets, St Louis, Atlanta, Kansas City
VIEWS:
Rotoworld.com is on board with picking up San Diego's Legedu Naanee as he remains a starting WR following the Vincent Jackson injury and will benefit from the Chargers No. 1 rated pass offense.
LestersLegends recommends both Miami WRs Davone Bess and Brian Hartline as their fantasy value increased when Chad Henne returned under center in week 12. Miami has favorable matchups with Buffalo and Detroit in weeks 15/16.
CBSSports.com points out that Oakland's Jacoby Ford has two 100 yard games in his past three and has a favorable week 14 matchup with Jacksonville.
FANTASY FOOTBALL SPIN:
Danario Alexander is a superb talent. He is also a magnificent injury risk. If he can remain healthy, he will continue to represent play a larger and larger role in the Rams offense. He is a weapon unique to the them; a big bodied fast receiver and for the remainder of this season, and Rams fans hope for years to come, he and Danny Amendola will compliment each other well. The four receptions and 95 yards from week 12 with just 20 snaps gives glimpse at the ability Alexander possesses.
Sam Bradford, Alexander, and company get to face a sift like pass defense in week 13 when they line up against the Cardinals. If you are in a jam, Alexander could be a guy you start in week 13.
If you are looking for a playoff option to take and stash for the final week, Louis Murphy appears to be back in game shape and healthy. He is not a good option for week 13 when the Chargers will likely shut down the Raiders offense, but in week 15, the first week of the playoffs he gets to play the Jags; they stink. As mentioned above, the Raiders have one of the most favorable playoff strength of schedules against pass defenses.
We are not as high on Devon Bess are other experts are for one reason; Brandon Marshall. When he returns, it is Bess, not Brian Hartline that will suffer. Hartline has been a consistent WR No. 3 in PPR leagues, and he will only see more targets if/when Marshall returns. Defenses have been double and even triple teaming Marshall, allowing Hartline almost free range across the middle.
Check out all of the expert recommendations at Running Back and Quarterback. Good luck this week my friends.
