Tiger Woods Struggling Again in the 2nd Round of the Australian Masters
Tiger Woods fired a great round of 69 during the first day of the Australian Masters, but is on a slump as of day two. He has gone two-over through 14 holes so far in the second round.
Tiger was looking to come back from what has been a heck of a year for the world's No. 2 golfer.
A year ago Sunday, Tiger was still celebrated as the greatest golfer in the world, and had the perfect life with the hot wife, and the wonderful life. It seemed that Tiger Woods had everything. He even won the Australian Masters, but little did he know what the next year would have in-store for him.
Two weeks following his great win at the Australian masters, Tiger's went down a spiral that would bring him from one of the most adored athletes in the world to one of the most loathed.
Enough about his personal life, Tiger is trying to rebound and once again win a major to get himself back on track to chase down Jack Nicklaus, for the all-time major record.
A win at the Australian Masters would have helped him out of the current slump that he is in.
Although it is getting better and he has improved a lot over the past few months, mentally and physically, Tiger just can't get back to the top of a championship. Ending at the top of the leaderboard in this event will really allow him to be propelled into the 2011 season with a great boost of confidence.
Although Tiger is sitting eight shots back for the tournament, if he can finish the second round strong, and go off Ryder Cup style in the third and fourth rounds he might just have a shot at winning this one, but the cards are stacked against him in this one.
