1. Canucks 4, Oilers 3: Raffi Torres had a hat trick and his third, with less than 10 minutes left, proved to be the game-winner for Vancouver on the road.
2. Wizards 116, 76ers 115, Overtime: Cartier Martin hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to force OT, then Andray Blatche hit two free throws with seven seconds left to get the home win.
3. Senators 3, Maple Leafs 2: Ottawa jumped out to a 3-0 lead and had to hang on as Toronto scored twice in the third, but could not get the game tied in the final moments.
4. Wild 1, Sharks 0: Andrew Brunette had the only goal of the game in the second period and Minnesota got a superb performance from Nicklas Backstrom to get the home win.
5. Blue Jackets 3, Canadiens 0: Nicklas Backstrom got all he needed from two Columbus goals in the first period as he shut out Montreal on home ice.
