Getting to Know the Gretzky's
We all know about the "Great One", but what about Wayne's lesser known siblings?
Keith and Brent Gretzky also had solid hockey careers, maybe not to the extent of their brother, but solid none the less.
How solid?

Well Wayne and Brent hold the NHL record for most points scored by a pair of brothers—2,857 by Wayne, four by Brent.
Okay, okay so Brent Gretzky didn't really help his older brother Wayne out that much, but hey it gave him yet another record to hold.
Here is the skinny on the Gretzky's not so great.
Keith Gretzky had a decent career in the OHL, scoring 113 goals and 222 assists, good for 335 points in 298 games played. He was selected in the third round (56th overall) of the 1985 NHL Entry Draft by the Buffalo Sabres.
His best season as a pro came in 1990-91 with the Winston-Salem Thunderbirds of the ECHL where he popped in 15 goals and 51 assists in 52 games.
Maybe his claim to fame was his appearance in a 7-Up soft drink commercial with his brother Wayne. Keith had the punchline in the ad: "I taught him everything he knows."
Keith is currently Director of Amateur Scouting with the Phoenix Coyotes.
Brent Gretzky scored 250 points in 194 games with the Belleville Bulls in the OHL, his best season coming in 1991-92 when he had 43 goals, 78 assists, 121 points in just 62 games.
Those totals were good enough for the Tampa Bay Lightning to select the youngest Gretzky in the third round (49th overall) in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft.
Gretzky would play just 13 games from 1993-95 with the Lightning scoring one goal and adding three assists.
Brent Gretzky has put up numbers like his older brother Wayne though in the UHL with the Asheville Smoke, Port Huron, Fort Wayne Komets, Danbury Thrashers and most recently with the Motor City Maniacs in 2005-06. In eight seasons in the UHL, Gretzky has scored 203 goals, added 412 assists, good for 615 points in just 458 games.
It's too bad the Oilers never gave the kid a look, or heck why couldn't he get a shot with his old brother Wayne's desert dogs?
And now ya know a couple more Gretzky's.
