Barclays Golf: Breaking Down Tiger Woods Second Round Hole By Hole
Tiger Woods vaulted to the top of the leader board with a stunning 6-under-par 65 at the Barclays Thursday.
Whether it's the burden lifted off his shoulders after the completion of his divorce or the help of new swing coach Sean Foley, Tiger was in vintage form in the opening round.
Friday, he took the course looking to continue his success and is off to a solid start before a difficult stretch late in the round that saw him bogey four of his final six holes.
Tiger's two birdies on the day came on short putts, and he was unable to replicate the stroke he exhibited on Thursday.
After his round, Tiger said he was unable to find the speed of the greens and also said he wasn't able to hit the ball pure with his putter.
With nearly half of the field playing under par at the Ridgeway Country Club, it will take an extremely low score for a player like Tiger to capture the first of four FedEx Cup events.
Kevin Streelman completed a blistering round on Friday, finishing with a 7-under-par 64. John Senden is currently atop the leaderboard at 9-under-par through 10 holes.
Here's a hole-by-hole recap of Tiger's second round at the Barclays Friday in New Jersey.
