Roger Federer Steams Some Cincinnati Mardig Fish

Michael CasentiAug 22, 2010

Roger Federer, one of the best chefs to ever to have been born, just a few months ago had his famous restaurant, "Le Roga Federu," downgraded to a four-star restaurant. Meanwhile, his rival, the owner of the world-renowned Spanish restaurant, "El Toro de Leftie," finally, after a couple years of waiting, advanced to a five-star restaurant.

While "Le Roga Federu" was getting criticized by critics, the casual "El Toro de Leftie" was getting high marks in the ratings.  "El Toro de Leftie" was cooking great food, such as its "Soda Ring Ling," which was a tough entree to make.

"El Toro de Leftie" had previously failed to make the "Soda Ring Ling" to its highest standards at the highly anticipated competition "Contestio de Chef" in Paris, France—the city where Rafael Nadal, owner of "El Toro de Leftie," built his restaurant is a small town called Southwest 19, and that is where the Spaniard cooked his famous "Murray Filet."

Over in Switzerland, where Roger Federer had his restaurant, Federer undercooked his usually excellent "Soderling Duckling Eggs."  His elegant and fancy restaurant's chefs were barely able to create their promised new sauce, the "Flaming Falla Sauce." As Federer was getting downed, a new contender, "Joker of Yugoslavia," got five stars for his restaurant, too.  Many critics declared the rankings of the restaurants:

  1. "El Toro de Leftie"
  2. "Joker of Yugoslavia"
  3. "Le Roga Federu"
  4. "Andy MnM Andy"

The Czech restaurant "Tomas Romas," was catching up, too.

But now, although "El Toro de Leftie" is still on top, "Le Roga Federu," has regained a star to make it five.  Roger Federer cooked his "Fried Berdych Bird" to perfection, steamed his "Novakia Slovakian Shrimp" amazingly, and cooked his "Marcos Dark Soup," which received excellent marks from his critics, and "downfallers."

Now the rankings read like this:

  1. "El Toro de Leftie"
  2. "Le Roga Federu"
  3. "Joker of Yugoslavia"
  4. "Andy MnM Andy"

Roger Federer is catching up against "El Toro de Leftie."  He just cooked a smooth, soft, yet crispy lemon "Cincinnati Mardig Fish."  After all, right now is the "Hard Food Season," where you have to cook hardy food.  Roger Federer's restaurant, with its elegance and fanciness, is the perfect place for this type of food.  Fish, bird, pasta, shrimp, crepe, parfait, and "elixirs."

Rafael Nadal's food, though equally delicious, would suit more with hamburgers, fries, tacos, pizza, ice cream, and smoothies because of its casual style.  "Le Roga Federu" has historically gotten more profits and customers than "El Toro de Leftie" this time of year, and I see know reason why this year won't be the same.

Everyone, prepare for the rise of "Le Roga Federu!
