La Liga: Sunday's Matches Short Previews: Week 38
Barcelona vs Valladolid
Barcelona are expecting to play host to a title party at the Nou Camp after this match. With Real Madrid still a point behind and this match tipped to be a sure thing for Barca it would be very surprising if they slip up now.
On the other hand if they don’t manage to get all three points Real Madrid could quite easily snatch the title so this could be one of the most interesting matches of the season.
The downside for Valladolid: they could quite easily be relegated after this match. With them tied up on points with four of the bottom five, loosing here could seal their fate and judging by their away performances this season that seems like a certainty.
Malaga vs Real Madrid
Real Madrid can only cross their fingers and pray that Barcelona slip up against Valladolid, but there doesn’t seem to be too much chance of that happening.

Real Madrid are going into this match as the massive favourites and Malaga certainly don’t look up to stopping Los Blancos. There is some good news for Real in the return of Guti and Pepe although whilst the players may contribute to a Real Madrid victory, it might still turn out to be all for nothing.
Valencia vs Tenerife
This is another one of the many massively unbalanced matches this weekend as the top three all take on teams from the bottom fives relegation battle.
Tenerife will most likely fancy their chances as they seem to be the only one that has even a slight chance of picking up a single point. Their biggest hope will be that Valencia do not field a full strength side since they have tied up 3rd place.
There is still some significance in this match for Valencia due to the fact that it could be the last time that fan favourites Villa, Silva and Mata play for the club. This match is likely to go to Valencia although there is some slither of hope for Tenerife.
