Arsenal Face a Very Nervy Sunday Game Against Fulham.
Our worst fears were realized last night as the Spuds got the victory they required at Man City to guarantee themselves at least fourth place in the league this season. With that comes Champions league qualification for next season for the first time ever, and if results go their way on Sunday they can still finish above us in third place.
The opportunities for us to wrap up St. Totteringham's day have been there ever since we made the trip to their ground four games ago. However, with only one point in those four games we have passed on each opportunity, and now we have to get a result at home to Fulham on Sunday to ensure we finish ahead of them.

Personally I think a draw will suffice. I don't see the Spuds beating Burnley by 10 clear goals, but obviously a win would be the ideal way to do it.
In 2006, the battle for St. Totteringham's day came down to the last game of the season.
We went into that game as underdogs as an away win at West Ham for the Spuds would have meant we finished fifth and missed out on a Champions league place. However, after the Spuds shared a dodgy pre-match lasagna they weren't feeling too good and lost by a 2-1 margin while we beat Wigan 4-2 at home in the last game ever at Highbury.
It was a day of high drama as the scores swung in either direction and we lost an early lead to go down 2-1 before being rescued by a Henry hat trick.
I'm sure that this coming Sunday will have its fair share of drama and controversy as Fulham are likely to play a weakened team with the Europa league final only three days later for them.
If that is the case I wonder if the Spuds will lodge an objection with the FA after the game or maybe even beforehand. Is it possible that they will look to force Fulham to play a full strength side ahead of the game knowing what a vulnerable position we are in?
As it stands Fulham have already failed in a bid to have the match moved to Saturday, and there could be plenty of drama still ahead of the weekend.
In other news the youth team are playing "Manure" away tomorrow morning in the Premier league academy semifinal. Sol Campbell was voted player of the month for April and I don't think anyone can argue with that.
The ladies team travel to Blackburn tonight for a league game and a win would leave them two points away from a seventh successive league title with three games left.
The boss spoke about the English transfer market and he said that with both Chelsea and Man City probably shopping abroad this summer there might be some value to be had in the domestic market as money is scarce for most teams.
He also said that he will only be buying top class players who are experienced and will improve our squad and purchases will be kept to a minimum.
I wonder if he is setting us up for the purchase of a player from another English club, which would be quite unusual for Arsenal. I'm not too worried when he says that purchases will be kept to a minimum as I'm hoping it's brinksmanship on his part.
Our worst kept secret, Chamakh, has spoken about how he turned down the Spuds and Liverpool to sign for us on a free transfer. It's always good to hear a player wants to join us over the Spuds even if he does look like that former "Manure" diver, and he has a little too much to say for himself.
There is a ridiculous story circulating about Juventus offering us Milito and Buffon in exchange for Cesc and RVP and to be honest it's just a joke. How can any journalist turn out tripe like this and expect anyone to take it seriously. I know we need a good keeper, but not at any cost and certainly not at the cost of our two best players.
We are linked with Hazard of Lille again and he looks like a good player—I think he could do well for us, but it's still just speculation. We are also linked with Kiev centre back Pape Malickou Diakhate(or something like that depending on which report you read) and I'm sure we will be linked with any centre back who is available because our need for a couple of them is fairly obvious.
That's it for today and I'm sorry it's so late, but after doing all the work on my iPhone on the way to work this morning I had to wait until a very late lunch to add the clips and post. I'll try to get back to my 7:30 A.M. posts tomorrow.
Here's the final goal in Henry's hat trick against Wigan in 2006.
See You Tomorrow.
