Real Madrid's Manuel Pellegrini Won't Listen To Spanish Calls To Resign
Real Madrid exited from the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night after losing 2-1 on aggregate to former French Ligue 1 champions Lyon.
Now calls from the Spanish media are ringing in the air for Manuel Pellegrini to resign as coach of Los Blancos.
However, the Chilean manager has no intentions of giving in to the intense criticism that now surrounds him.

"I am not resigning. I will not leave though it is a difficult defeat to swallow," Manuel Pellegrini declared in a post match interview.
Florentino Perez actually splashed an astronomical amount of cash last summer to land some of the planet's finest footballers.
Therefore, the pressure was high on Real Madridto remain much longer in the UEFA Champions League and possibly win the title at the end of the season.
But as Lyon successfully challenged the Spanish giants to the very last moment on Wednesday night, the reality was that Real Madrid's European dreams vanished.
Back in October 2009, tension rose high on Pellegrini after he led his side to a shocking 4-0 Copa del Rey defeat against minnows Alcorcon.
Now many think it is time to get rid of the manager once and for all.
Real Madrid's director Jorge Valdano has other ideas though and he backed Manuel Pellegrini to honor his contract at the club.
