There has been much made of the high "star value" of the 2010 Auburn recruiting class. There has been much written about the high profile stars of this class. Now it is time to look and see if there is any hidden talent.

Ladarious Phillips: A 6'1" 275 lbs Fullback/Athlete that can play at least five positions. He is rated as a one star by some recruiting services. He is also a great example of how badly they can miss some times.

This young man played his high school ball at a perennial powerhouse program in Randolph County Alabama. It is a 4A school that is secluded so this young man flew right under the radar.

I think he is by far the most under rated member of this class. I think he will contribute early and often. He is a beast in every sense of the word. You can make your own judgement by watching this.

Tunde Fariyike: Is a 6'3" 295lbs. offensive lineman that has a 3.9 GPA and scored 27 on his ACT. He has great agility and feet. He needs work on fundamentals. He will need to do some conditioning and fundamental work, but will be a contributor in his time at Auburn. He was also rated a 1 star by some ranking services.

Chris Davis: Is a 6'0" 170lbs athlete that can play several positions. He is absolutely electrifying. He is listed as running a 4.4 forty. This is certainly a conservative figure. I have actually watched this young man play.

He flew under the radar and was not rated by any of the recruiting services until after the high school football season was long over. I suspect he was rated on his sophomore film. You can form your own opinion.

Justin Delaine is a 6'5" 225lbs defensive end that runs a 4.5 forty. He is rated a two star by some recruiting services. With his frame I expect him to be a quick responder to the Auburn physical conditioning program. He will contribute during his time at Auburn.

Shaun Kitchens: Is a 6'3" 215lbs athlete that can play several positions. He is fun to watch and will contribute immediately at Auburn in my opinion. You can form your own opinion here.

While we all like having players like Jeffrey Whitaker, Michael Dyer, and Corey Lemonier that were nationally recruited. We need to realize that there is much hidden talent that was found off the usual recruiting trail. These players only problem was playing at schools that were secluded and not publicized as much.
