Don't Blame Jay Cutler
For the Bears lack of success this season, don't turn your head towards the Bears' newfound 26-year-old quarterback like most of the Chicago Bears' fans thus far.
Watching Cutler so far has been a love/hate relationship. In the season opener, many fans lost hope at that point.
The bounce back the following week against the defending Super Bowl Champions was a giant leap forward for many Bears' fans.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
A 3-1 start was welcomed by many fans, and the thought of bringing in Jay Cutler,a former Pro Bowl Quarterback, would likely transform the season into another NFC North title, without the mistakes that the 2006 Season held.
Those dreams were taken away in a heartbeat.
We would not had of won the long battle against the Steelers or Seahawks without the late-game management of Jay Cutler. With Rex or Kyle,we would not have had the opportunities in the redzone, and if we did,They wouldn't have capitalized on them.
We started off the way we did for one reason ; Jay Cutler.
From watching every game and from a fan's perspective, we did not fall out of playoff contention or slowly fall downhill because of Jay Cutler.
Some peoples' defense is "Jay Cutler has 25 interceptions in this season, with 2 more games left to go. This guy is worse than Rex Grossman."
Yet another myth.
Jay Cutler has a huge arm,as we all know. Some may question his leadership abilities. I do not. He has stated that his leadership is "a top priority" in interviews. He has spoken to the young,up-and-coming rookie wide-out Johnny Knox after throwing a pick to correct the speedy receiver and has never complained about how things are going, also using the term "we" instead of "me" shows how he is a team player.
If you watched all the games, most of his interceptions are from 2 things.
1. Cutler and the intended target are not on the same page.
2. He is a risk taker and forces the ball into a tight window, but his receivers don't fight for the ball like they did in Denver
Ways to correct this:
1. Buy a new line,as most of our linemen are aging, draw too many penalties,or just plain can't block.
2. Somehow get the defense up to par with the ferocious Bears' defense we are used to viewing so Cutler doesn't have to force throws in order to win.
3. Buy a veteran receiver to teach our young receivers (who are surprisingly better than I thought) how to run routes to get open, and to make plays for Cutler.
Bottom line,do not blame the 4th-year pro for our lack of success on offense. He just doesn't have the receivers, line,or running game to pick apart opposing secondarys.
