NFL Week 16: Fearless Forecast
Wesley KaminskyDec 27, 2009
San Diego Chargers at Tennessee Titans - 24-20. In order for the Titans to keep their season alive, it's no easy task as they have to play the streaking Chargers who refuse to lose. Philip Rivers is having an MVP type season, and I like the Chargers to continue the streak to 10 in a row
Kansas City Chiefs at Cincinnati Bengals - 24-9. The Bengals will bounce back this week, and beat the lowly Chiefs. Cedric Benson, meet the Chiefs run defense, who allowed Jerome Harrison to run for 286 yards.
Oakland Raiders at Cleveland Browns - 27-20. The stinker of the week feature the Raiders traveling to Cleveland to play the Browns. The Browns will be without Brady Quinn, and the Raiders are coming off another upset victory. The Raiders win.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Buffalo Bills at Atlanta Falcons - 24-13. Brian Brohm will get his first career NFL start this week, as the Bills need to see if he can play. Matt Ryan is back for the Falcons, and they want to finish this injury prone season on a good note.
Seattle Seahawks at Green Bay Packers - 31-7. That loss last week in Pittsburgh is tough to swallow for the Packers; they were just seconds away from being 10-4. The defense will regroup this week against the struggling Seahawks.
Houston Texans at Miami Dolphins - 27-23. This game is simple, the winner stays alive in the AFC, and the loser is out of the playoff running. The Texans have an explosive offense, and the Dolphins confuse teams with their wildcat formation. Matt Schaub will out duel Chad Henne though as the Texans improve to 8-7.
Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers - 23-20. A week ago the Steelers were 6-7, and on the cusp of losing their 6th straight game before Ben Roethlisberger's heroics put them right back in the playoff picture. The last time they played the Ravens, Dennis Dixon was starting and they nearly won it. This time Big Ben is back, and the Steelers will make the AFC playoff picture even more exciting.
Carolina Panthers at New York Giants - 27-13. If the Giants want any shot of making the playoffs, they can't afford any more losses. The Panthers come to town fresh off a dominating performance of the Vikings. It won't continue in New York.
Jacksonville Jaguars at New England Patriots - 23-14. The Patriots won their first road game of the year a week ago, and now come home to play the Jaguars who are fighting for their playoff lives. Tom Brady still isn't 100%, but he will do enough to seal the victory.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints - 38-10. Coming off their first loss of the season, the Saints will take out their anger against a bad Bucs defense. Josh Freeman will struggle.
St.Louis Rams at Arizona Cardinals - 31-13. The Rams were competitive a week ago against the Texans, and now travel to Arizona. The Cardinals have locked up the NFC West, and are now playing for positioning in the playoffs. They win it easily.
Detroit Lions at San Francisco 49ers - 27-10. The 49ers are out of playoff contention and as a team have nothing really to play for. This isn't the case for Alex Smith who is playing for a starting job next season. He starts his campaign on a good note.
Denver Broncos at Philadelphia Eagles - 24-13. The Eagles are on a quest to win the NFC East, and now a first round bye is even possible. On the other hand, the Broncos, after starting out 6-0, are just fighting for a playoff spot. The Eagles win it.
New York Jets at Indianapolis Colts - 20-7. All Rex Ryan wants for Christmas is for the Colts to sit their starters. It's unknown for how long they will play for, but one thing is for sure, they will start. It will be enough to lift the Colts.
Dallas Cowboys at Washington Redskins - 20-10. For the second week in a row the Redskins are on national TV, and last week they took a 32 point thumping. The Cowboys got a huge victory in New Orleans to end their December blues. Tony Romo continues his great play as the Cowboys win in Washington.
Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears - 20-17. The Vikings have gotten blown out two of their last three games, and Brett Favre isn't seeing eye to eye with head coach Brad Childress now. There's really no reason to think the Bears can pull the upset seeing as they are playing so bad, but I'm going to take the upset as the Bears try to take something positive out of the season.
Top QB: Aaron Rodgers - 26-33, 389 yards, 3 TDs
