What TNA Has To Do To Compete With The WWE
If it's total non-stop action you want, then you might want to change the channel.
As I was watching Impact! the other night, mainly to figure out story lines for the upcoming PPV, I realized that TNA is trying too hard, and really I mean too hard, to be a competitor.
I think I would have rather paid to watch ROH then watch a free episode of TNA.
Note: TNA has a lot of good, young talent, but there quality of story is terrible.
Note: If you are going to use someone's real life on tv, please go to MTV and join a Real World vs Road Rules Challenge or heck why not go join the cast of Jersey Shore, don't!
Now there are alot of factors moving into the TNA heading towards the new year.
Hulk Hogan is now a part of it.
Eric Bischoff is now a part of it.
If the rumors are true, which i highly doubt, Ric Flair might actually be a part of it.
Is this enough though to be a mainstay competior against the WWE?
I think that if TNA went back to the way they used to run things, way back in the day when it seemed more like the old ECW.
If TNA has any hope of being a competitor to the WWE they first need to leave the Impact Zone.
Why?
I know it's a place where people can come and watch and it's their home, but there is no way you are going to compete with a face and heel ramp separate.
There is no way you are going to compete with unrealistic moves in a match.
Note: I do understand a contradiction here witht eh WWE, but it is not in every match that someone gets up after being hit with a devastating move.
TNA needs to figure out how to book a better card.
I admit they are doing a better job going in to the new year, but it has to be moved up a whole nother level.
TNA needs to stop stealing ex-WWE talent and develop their own into the stars they can become.
TNA needs to get rid of WWE reject writers.
For TNA to be a competitor with the WWE, Hulk Hogan must make an immediate impact, no pun intended.
Jeff Jaret needs to kick Dixie Carter to the curb and regain control of the company he founded.
Kurt Angle needs to bring his A game to every match and start pushing the hell out of every new kid on the block.
And finally TNA needs to continue keeping their talent fresh, but cannot overlook the fact that it is a whole package deal with their wrestlers (They need to have a good look, be fantastic, realistic athletes, and the need to have the charismatic words that bring it all together).
