UCL 07 Matchday 3: Reds on a Rampage
English giants Manchester United and Arsenal romped into victory in last night's Champions League clash against Dynamo Kiev and Slavia Prague, with the latter match sending shudders across Europe.
Enjoying a 12 match winning streak, Arsene Wenger's prodigies put on a stupendous display against Slavia Prague last night. The likes of Theo Walcott and Cesc Fabregas coruscated the most and led to a thumping 7-0 victory, equalling the record of Juventus as the largest win in UCL's history.
Though their last two home matches didn't match their fantastic run of form, last night's performance was a vintage one. Fabregas pulled the trigger with a fierce shot from 15 yards out to open the scoring. Soon, Hleb and Walcott followed and then the steamroller on the Slavia was too much to bear and it finished 7-0 at the end. The highlight was of course the England Under-21 International's peak performance, which led many football pundits to hail him as the next Henry.

The showman Ronaldo bagged two goals, with Rooney and Ferdinand being the other scorers.
Midfield anchorman Paul Scholes missed through a knee injury, but United didn't miss him that much-thanks to Anderson. In his last few games, he has superbly gelled with his team mates and his coordination with the attackers have been pretty impressive.
The Reds' wins were the hot cakes of last night's footballing world, but Ranger's 0-0 draw against Barca wrapped up a brilliant night for the British teams overall. The tenacity and ironclad defence of Rangers frustrated the likes of Henry and Ronaldinho, and now both the teams are level on points at the top of their group.
Man Utd and Arsenal have nearly guarenteed their qualification to the knockout stages, needing only a draw in their remanining fixtures. Rangers, however, has Lyon lurking behind them with their first win of the season against Stuttgart.
