Cincinnati Bengals Week 14 Report Card
Sunday's game at Minnesota was supposed to be a chance for the Bengals to see how they matched up against one of the league's best teams.
While I still believe Cincinnati is a team that can go deep into the playoffs, they certainly didn't play like it against the Vikings.
Hopefully a 30-10 pounding will be just what the doctor ordered to wake this team up as they face another tough game at San Diego this week.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Offense
Controlling the clock has been a key ingredient to the team's success this year. The strong running game and high percentage passes have worn down opposing defenses while keeping the Bengals defense fresh. That did not happen against the Vikings.
Carson Palmer had one of the worst passing days of his career, finishing with just 94 yards through the air. The only touchdown came on a 15-yard pass to Chad Ochocinco.
Cedric Benson rushed for 96 yards on 16 carries, allowing him to surpass 1,000 yards for the season.

Defense
Leon Hall and Johnathan Joseph continue to derail any deep passing attack from the opposing offense. Hall notched his fifth interception of the season.
However, Brett Favre was able to take advantage of the Bengals linebackers with a mid-range passing game, totaling 192 yards through the air. Combining that with Adrian Peterson rushing for 97 yards and two touchdowns allowed Minnesota to control the clock and wear down the Bengals defense.
The Vikings were also able to convert eight of 14 third down opportunities.

Special Teams
Rey Maualuga was flagged for a late hit on a punt return. Shayne Graham had a kickoff sail out of bounds. There were missed tackles galore. The only positive was Graham kicking a 22-yard field goal.
