Embracing This Situation Helps Giants
It's now or never for the Giants.
That's what tomorrow's game comes down to in their NFC East showdown against the hated Cowboys at Giants Stadium.
A loss to them and we can talk about the NFL Draft along with shelving Eli Manning for the season, but if the Giants achieved a victory, they know they can win the NFC East and gain some momentum heading into January.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
When the Giants entered the bye week, they needed to win three of four for them to be a play-off team. They accomplished that by beating the Falcons in a wild game that ended in overtime, but then few days later, they performed terribly against the Broncos in all facets of the game.
Losing to the Broncos was not a good thing, but fortunately for Big Blue, it's a non-conference loss so it does not affect them in the standings. The Giants need to win the next two since those two are divisional games that could put them in a better position to win the division with the final three games being feasible.
It's time for the G-Men to go out and play the type of game that they are capable of.
Maybe they are not an elite team this season, but there's no reason for them to go lose to the Cowboys and the Eagles. Those two teams fail to overwhelm anyone.
Tomorrow's game should be a winnable one. Sure the Cowboys play well now, but we know they play differently in December.
Many signs favor the Giants here.
As bad as the Giants defense played in the last two months, they know how to get to Romo by forcing him to fumble the ball and throw interceptions. Romo plays like the skittish version of Eli Manning when he encounters the Giants defensive line.
The Cowboys are not a great road team especially when they visit the Northeast Corridor. Their offense plays like a finesse team out there so they will have a hard time in their rematch from Week two.
The Giants play their best when they play Dallas, and it starts with Manning and it ends with Brandon Jacobs.
The G-Men know they are playing for their season, and recent history indicates they play well when they are in this type of situation as evident couple of years ago when they needed a victory to reach the second season, and they accomplished it by beating the Bills at Buffalo to help them qualify for January that helped them set up a playoff to remember.
Another example came three years ago when they defeated the Redskins on the road in the final game of the season that helped them earn a wild-card.
It sounds like the Giants enjoy being in this type of situation. They love it when skeptics question their ability to win and they use that as a motivation for them to go out and play well.
The players are outspoken when it comes to their critics to the point they act like drama queens when they whine about lack of respect.
This team knows they got one last shot to get it done so expect a good performance from them tomorrow.
It would be disappointing if we did not expect anything less, and the season might as well go down the gutter with this potential loss.
Somehow and someway, the Giants will live for another day, and after that, they will rehash the same old episode for next week.
