National Signing Day 2022: Final Recruit Announcement Schedule and Predictions
The top uncommitted recruits in the class of 2022 will make their college choices known Wednesday.
February's national signing day does not have the same excitement it carried a few years ago because most of the top prospects made their futures known during the early signing window in December, including No. 1 overall recruit Travis Hunter, who shocked everyone by signing with Jackson State.
Texas A&M sits atop the team rankings at 247 Sports going into Wednesday, and it could get two more 5-star recruits to add to its phenomenal recruiting class. The Aggies are in the mix for linebacker Harold Perkins and defensive lineman Shemar Stewart, who are two of the best uncommitted prospects.
Texas and Oklahoma are likely fighting for the final 5-star commitment on the board from offensive lineman Devon Campbell.
Wednesday's full commitment schedule can be found on CBSSports.com.
Harold Perkins, LB, Cypress, Texas

Harold Perkins was committed to Texas A&M, but he opted out of that decision in January.
247 Sports' Steve Wiltfong noted that Florida and LSU are finalists for the linebacker, as well as Texas A&M.
A recommitment to Texas A&M would help Jimbo Fisher and his staff finish off a tremendous recruiting cycle that has seen the Aggies land six 5-star commits.
Florida and LSU are looking to bring in Perkins to anchor the new era of their respective defenses, with Billy Napier and Brian Kelly respectively now in as head coaches.
LSU and Florida rank 18th and 19th, respectively, in the 247 Sports team rankings. Perkins' signing would provide a boost to either recruiting class without a 5-star prospect.
Texas A&M could still convince Perkins to return to its recruiting class, which would give the Aggies a massive advantage over its rebuilding SEC rivals.
The Aggies provide the most stable environment for prospects at the moment, and they offer Perkins and other prospects the best chance to win a national title as well.
Prediction: Texas A&M
Shemar Stewart, DL, Opa Locka, Florida
2 of 3
Texas A&M is fighting with another program with a first-year head coach for the other 5-star player left on its board.
Defensive lineman Shemar Stewart will choose between the Aggies and Miami on Wednesday.
Stewart could be drawn to Miami because new Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal is looking to keep local talent in Florida.
Miami just hired Kevin Steele to be Cristobal's defensive coordinator, and that could have an impact on his decision as well.
Stewart's positional coach at Monsignor Pace, Moe Marquez, detailed the impact of a recent visit to Miami to The Athletic's Manny Navarro: "The weekend was cool man. He enjoyed it. Miami has always been in it. The only thing [this visit] did was help them, not hurt them."
Miami has made a late push for Stewart, but the 247 Sports crystal ball has the lineman headed to Texas A&M.
The Hurricanes would be thrilled if they kept Stewart in Florida, but it may be tough to lure him away from Texas A&M's loaded class.
Prediction: Texas A&M
Devon Campbell, OL, Arlington, Texas
3 of 3
Texas and Oklahoma are locked in a battle to sign offensive lineman Devon Campbell.
The Longhorns and Sooners have always fought for recruits in Texas, and both programs would love to finish off the recruiting cycle with a 5-star commitment.
Texas provides Campbell with the more stable situation, with Steve Sarkisian entering his second year as head coach. Sarkisian has put together the No. 5 recruiting class and bringing in a second 5-star would be a nice boost going into the rest of the offseason.
Oklahoma is without a 5-star commit in its class after Lincoln Riley's departure for USC, and the coaching change to Brent Venables in Norman could be used against the Sooners.
Texas has done a nice job keeping the best players in state. The Longhorns have 19 commitments from Texas prospects. Campbell could be the 20th for a program looking to get back to the top of the Big 12.
