ESPN College GameDay 2021: TV Schedule, Predictions and Location for Week 7
For the second time in three weeks, ESPN's College GameDay is heading to Athens, Georgia, on Saturday. Only this time, Georgia is welcoming the popular college football kickoff show to town while being ranked No. 1 in the country.
With Alabama getting upset at Texas A&M in Week 6, the Bulldogs have taken over the top spot in the AP Top 25 poll. They will look to solidify their position Saturday, when they host No. 11 Kentucky in a marquee SEC East matchup at Sanford Stadium.
Before the Bulldogs and Wildcats kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET, College GameDay will air from 9 a.m. ET. Georgia has won the past four times that the show has emanated from Athens, including Week 5's defeat of Arkansas.
Here's everything else you need to know heading into Week 7 of the college football season.

Week 7 Preview
For the first time since the opener of the 2008 season, Georgia will play a game as the No. 1 team in the country Saturday. The Bulldogs haven't won a national championship since the 1980 season, but if things keep trending in the current direction, that drought could end this year too.
Before Georgia can start thinking that far ahead, it has to take care of the SEC competition on its schedule. And Saturday's home game against Kentucky could be the most difficult matchup remaining on the Bulldogs' regular-season slate.
Both Georgia and Kentucky enter this game at 6-0 overall and 4-0 in SEC play. The Bulldogs and Wildcats are the only two undefeated teams in the conference, and one of them will sit alone atop the SEC East after this matchup.
It has the potential to be the most exciting game of the weekend, as it will be one of only two matchups featuring a pair of ranked teams (No. 25 Texas is hosting No. 12 Oklahoma State in Big 12 action in the other).
If Kentucky is going to pull off an upset on the road, it will need to find a way to score against a defense that is dominating opponents this season.
"They are playing at a ridiculous level defensively," Wildcats head coach Mark Stoops said, per Paul Newberry of the Associated Press.
Ridiculous may be an understatement. The Bulldogs are allowing only 5.5 points per game, and no team has scored more than 13 against them. They had back-to-back shutouts against Vanderbilt and Arkansas before giving up only 10 points on the road against Auburn last time out.
How is Georgia shutting down opposing offenses so well? It could be its team mindset.
"There's not really anyone out there that's saying, 'Look at me! Look at me! I need more attention,'" Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart said, per Newberry. "They want to win, is what they want to do, and that's what matters."
Unless Georgia loses, there may not be any movement near the top of the AP Top 25 poll after Week 7's games. No. 2 Iowa, No. 3 Cincinnati and No. 4 Oklahoma are all playing at home against unranked opponents and should have no trouble winning.
No. 5 Alabama is going on the road to take on unranked Mississippi State, and the Crimson Tide could be looking to make a statement after suffering a rare loss in their most recent outing. They hadn't dropped a game since the 2019 regular-season finale before falling at Texas A&M in Week 6.
If Alabama gets upset again, it would mark its first losing streak since dropping back-to-back games to Auburn and Oklahoma to end the 2013 season.
