NBA: Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts 11/20/09
Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.
J.J. Hickson, Cleveland Cavaliers —33 MIN, 15 PTS, 7-9 FG, 1-3 FT, seven REB, one STL, one BLK, two TO. Hickson bounced back from a dud to post another solid game for the Cavs.
Mario Chalmers, Miami Heat —38 MIN, 30 points, 9-15 FG, 7-9 FT, five 3PM, one REB, three AST, three STL, two TO. Chalmers more than tripled his scoring average. He’s worth owning, but he mainly provides steals and assists.
Jarrett Jack, Toronto Raptors —31 MIN, 17 PTS, 5-9 FG, 4-4 FT, three 3PM, three REB, three AST, one STL. Jack had his first double-digit scoring performance of the year. Until he shows he can produce consistently, he’s not worth owning.
Kyle Lowry, Houston Rockets —27 MIN, 14 PTS, 4-9 FG, 5-7 FT, one 3PM, three REB, seven AST, two STL, two TO. Lowry is a decent source for assists. He doesn’t typically help in other categories.
James Harden, Oklahoma City Thunder —26 MIN, 25 PTS, 8-11 FG, 5-6 FT, four 3PM, four REB, one AST, four STL, two TO. The silky smooth Harden put up his second straight big game. Looks like the Rookie is figuring some things out.
Ronald Murray, Charlotte Bobcats —28 MIN, 17 PTS, 5-10 FG, 7-10 FT, five REB, six AST, one STL, one TO. Another solid game for Murray, who has been playing better since Stephen Jackson’s arrival.
Rudy Fernandez, Portland Trail Blazers —38 MIN, 19 PTS, 6-11 FG, 4-5 FT, three 3PM, four REB, five AST, two STL, four TO. Ferndandez continues to produce for Portland while Travis Outlaw is out.
Rasual Butler, Los Angeles Clippers —34 MIN, 27 PTS, 8-15 FG, 7-7 FT, four 3PM, three REB, two AST, one TO. Butlers has been up and down, and will lose value when the Clippers will start getting healthy.
