Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts (11/18/09)

Ryan LesterNov 19, 2009

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.

James Harden, Oklahoma City Thunder
31 minutes, 24 points, 7-14 FG, 4-4 FT, 6 three-pointers, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 1 turnover

You knew he had the ability. He just needed an opportunity. He took full advantage of his team-high 31 minutes.

Elton Brand, Philadelphia 76ers
42 minutes, 19 points, 8-17 FG, 11 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, 6 blocks, 1 turnover

Elton was given the start and he more than made the most of it. This is a great sign of things to come. Now that his confidence is back, the rest should fall into place.

Antawn Jamison, Washington Wizards
38 minutes, 31 points, 12-22 FG, 5-6 FT, 2 three-pointers, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 2 turnovers
Talk about making a splash in a season debut. Get him back in your lineups obviously.

Carlos Delfino, Milwaukee Bucks
39 minutes, 21 points, 7-15 FG, 3-3 FT, 4 three-pointers, 4 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal, 2 turnovers

Great game from Delfino, but he needs to show some consistency before you think about adding him.

Luke Ridnour, Milwaukee Bucks
28 minutes, 17 points, 7-11 FG, 1-1 FT, 2 three-pointers, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 turnovers

Ridnour has really stepped up his play, and should continue to be a decent Utility play while Michael Redd is out.

Ramon Sessions, Minnesota Timberwolves
24 minutes, 16 points, 7-11 FG, 2-2 FT, 1 rebound, 5 assists, 3 steals, 2 turnovers

Sessions has actually played pretty well of late and is worth adding to fantasy rosters.

Marco Belinelli, Toronto Raptors
31 minutes, 19 points, 7-14 FG, 3-3 FT, 2 three-pointers, 4 rebounds, 1 assist

Marco continues to be a decent score of scoring and three-pointers.

Eric Maynor, Utah Jazz
23 minutes, 15 points, 5-11 FG, 5-6 FT, 4 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, 2 turnovers

Eric is averaging 17.3 points and 7.0 assists over his past three games. If he continues to produce, he’ll be hard to keep out of the Jazz lineup, as well as your fantasy one.

Matt Bonner, San Antonio Spurs
25 minutes, 11 points, 4-6 FG, 3 three-pointers, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 turnovers

Bonner had another decent night as San Antonio once again dealt with the injury bug.

Drew Gooden, Dallas Mavericks
36 minutes, 17 points, 8-13 FG, 1-2 FT, 11 rebounds, 1 steal, 3 blocks, 1 turnover

Gooden continues to shine while Erick Dampier is out.

Steve Blake, Portland Trail Blazers
35 minutes, 17 points, 5-10 FG, 4-4 FT, 3 three-pointers, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 turnovers

Blake had a second consecutive solid game, but is mainly useful as a three-point threat at this point.
