Adrian Peterson 'Definitely' Interested in Signing Buccaneers Contract in FA
Adrian Peterson has yet to win a Super Bowl, so it's no surprise the seven-time Pro Bowl running back hopes to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at this stage of his career.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, Peterson said he would "definitely" be interested in signing with the newly-crowned Super Bowl champions as a free agent.
"That would definitely be something I'm interested in," he said. "If they want me to be a part of it, I'll be a part of it for sure. Because I'm definitely trying to add a trophy to my resume."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Buccaneers won their second championship in franchise history on Sunday with a 31-9 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.
One of Tampa's best players throughout the postseason was Leonard Fournette. He ran for 300 yards and three touchdowns on 64 carries in four games. His 27-yard touchdown run in the third quarter against Kansas City put the Bucs up 28-9.
Fournette was a late addition to Tampa's roster in the offseason. He signed a one-year deal on Sept. 6, seven days before the start of the regular season, after being released by the Jacksonville Jaguars. The 26-year-old only ran for 367 yards in 13 regular-season games.
Peterson spent 2020 with the Detroit Lions and was more productive than Fournette during the regular season. The 35-year-old ran for 604 yards and seven touchdowns on 156 carries in 16 games.
The Bucs don't need a dominant running back to succeed, as they proved this season. Peterson is still a productive runner at an age when most players at the position struggle to get signed. If he wants to take a low-cost deal to try to win a title, it's not impossible to envision a scenario in which Tampa comes calling.
