WWE Raw Results: Winners, Grades, Reaction and Highlights from November 11

Kevin BergeNov 11, 2019

Hailing from the Manchester Arena in England, the November 11 edition of Monday Night Raw continued to build toward Survivor Series as the red brand had to deal with potential appearances from both NXT and Friday Night SmackDown.

The show promised a hot start with the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships on the line. While Natalya was unable to compete, Becky Lynch teamed with Charlotte Flair against Asuka and Kairi Sane in a huge title match.

Seth Rollins wanted to recover from his recent failures, setting a challenge to the best the United Kingdom had to offer.

In the continued awkward drama between Rusev, Lana and Bobby Lashley, The Ravishing Russian made clear she had an important announcement to make that would change the complexion of this whole story.

This night needed to keep the tension high in the battle for brand dominance by highlighting the top stars and reminding everyone that anything can happen at any moment.

WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Kabuki Warriors vs. Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair

1 of 9

As the night began, Becky Lynch opened the show, making clear she was ready for all challengers—even Bayley and Shayna Baszler. This tag team title match went back and forth as Asuka and Kairi Sane looked more cohesive, but The Man and Charlotte Flair rarely stayed down for long.

The NXT women's champion appeared to take a close look at the action. As Baszler jumped on the apron after Lynch's hot tag, the SmackDown women's champion appeared to attack the Queen of Spades. The distraction allowed The Empress of Tomorrow to roll up The Man for three.

Afterward, Bayley laid out Lynch and threw her into the barricade.

Result

Kabuki Warriors def. Lynch and Charlotte by pinfall to retain the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships

Grade

A-

Analysis

This was a strong opener to the night, though it might have featured a bit too much of The Queen and not enough of The Man. Everyone got a moment to shine by the end, and The Kabuki Warriors are finding more cohesion as a unit with each performance.

Once more, The Empress has gotten a win over Lynch, so she might still be in position for the role of the next challenger to The Man following Survivor Series, which starts Nov. 22.

Drew McIntyre vs. Sin Cara

2 of 9

Sin Cara refused to be pushed around by Drew McIntyre, but he was no match for the power and dominance that The Scottish Psychopath brings to every match. He beat down the luchador and connected with the Claymore for the win.

Result

McIntyre def. Cara by pinfall

Grade

C+

Analysis

This was a fine extended squash match that attempted to capitalize on Cara's recent boost in television time by making him feel like a competent challenge to McIntyre. Ultimately, he had no chance much like in his fights with Andrade, though he got even less of a spotlight.

24/7 Champion Samir Singh and Sunil Singh vs. R-Truth

3 of 9

R-Truth looked to regain the 24/7 Championship in a handicap match against The Singh Brothers. The current champion Samir Singh, though, grabbed his title as well as his brother Sumir Singh and ran to the back.

Truth chased them until they disappeared into a dark room, where Erick Rowan was enjoying the darkness. He did not take kindly to the two turning on the lights and laid out both men. Truth decided to leave them to Rowan and go after the title another day.

Result

Truth vs. Singh Brothers goes to a no-contest

Grade

C

Analysis

It's nice to see the 24/7 Championship actually defended in a ring for once, even if it was more of a fake-out. The Singh Brothers have enjoyed a fresh start in the 24/7 Championship picture that allows them to be goofy and constantly relevant.

In the end, though, it won't quite feel like anything in this title scene has changed until Truth takes a few months away from competing for the title.

Seth Rollins vs. WALTER; Rollins, Kevin Owens and Street Profits vs. Imperium

4 of 9

Seth Rollins laid out an open challenge to the United Kingdom's best, and WALTER answered the call flanked by Imperium. The Ring General used his indomitable power to wear down the former WWE universal champion until Rollins fired back with a series of superkicks.

As he prepared for the Stomp, Imperium attacked Rollins, forcing a disqualification. The Street Profits and Kevin Owens ran out to even the odds, setting the stage for an eight-man tag match.

After a furious home stretch when the Raw stars cleared the ring, Rollins landed the Stomp on Alexander Wolfe for the win.

Result

Rollins def. WALTER by disqualification; Rollins, KO and Street Profits def. Imperium by pinfall

Grade

B

Analysis

The wrestling throughout this segment was certainly fun, but it felt like a slight on Imperium to have the quartet pick up back-to-back losses like this. NXT had been getting the upper hand lately, and WALTER at least deserved better.

Despite his recent losses and the crowd turning on him, Rollins' focus right now is surprisingly flat. A momentary tease that he might join NXT has turned into a bland rallying cry to fight alongside Raw.

Andrade vs. Cedric Alexander

5 of 9

Cedric Alexander stayed focused on Andrade throughout this match, keeping El Idolo on his toes. A flatliner almost allowed The Lumbar Legacy to take the victory, but Andrade kicked out at two. Zelina Vega grabbed Alexander's foot just long enough to set up the hammerlock DDT for three.

Result

Andrade def. Alexander by pinfall

Grade

C

Analysis

This should have been a great sprint, but it felt like they were cut far too short. Alexander is losing steam fast as a relevant competitor on the red brand as each top heel runs right through him to get to stronger competition.

El Idolo would have perfectly suited as a rival to Alexander, allowing both to work the next month together, but it seems the former WWE cruiserweight champion is not good enough for a spot Sin Cara had just last week.

Lana Fakes a Pregnancy to Further Torment Rusev

6 of 9

After a supposed argument backstage with Bobby Lashley, Lana walked to the ring, where she announced she was pregnant with Rusev's child. The Bulgarian Brute interrupted to question The Ravishing Russian, who refused to let Rusev call her a liar.

She jumped on Rusev, scratching at his eyes. Lashley marched down to the ring and laid out The Bulgarian Brute once again. On the stage, Lana laughed at Rusev as she told The All Mighty she was never pregnant.

Grade

F

Analysis

It cannot stressed enough how bad this storyline has been since week one. Rusev has looked like a chump. Lana seems to have lost her ability to confidently cut a promo. Lashley has spent too much time talking and not enough time wrestling.

This might have been the worst yet. As the entire crowd booed the segment from the moment The Ravishing Russian's music hit, Lana talked about the great sex she has been having, cried about being pregnant and then took offense to Rusev calling her a liar—only to admit she was lying.

If WWE is feeling merciful, this feud may end at Survivor Series. Otherwise, it could go all the way to the end of the year.

Erick Rowan vs. a Local Competitor

7 of 9

Erick Rowan was backstage using baby talk directed at a mysterious subject. He carried a cloaked cage to the ring that he set on the announce table. He made quick work of his opponent, ending it with the Iron Claw, and left with his cage.

Result

Rowan def. a local competitor by pinfall

Grade

C

Analysis

I reserve judgment for the direction WWE is taking Rowan until it is revealed what he is carrying to the ring. For now, he is being rebuilt once again, which feels unnecessary given he was a major act on SmackDown two months ago.

He's in a position when squash matches make sense to build up his momentum.

The Viking Raiders vs. Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster

8 of 9

Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster brought the good fight to The Viking Raiders early. Their speed caught Erik and Ivar off guard at first, but the Raw tag team champions recovered. They caught Andrews running with the Viking Experience.

Result

Viking Raiders def. Andrews and Webster by pinfall

Grade

B-

Analysis

For a three-minute sprint, it is hard to complaint about what these teams delivered. Andrews and Webster are stars in the making who will eventually get their time. They have interesting chemistry with The Viking Raiders.

However, given they are just a few weeks removed from holding the NXT UK Tag Team Championships, Andrews and Webster deserved better than a quick flurry of offense then a loss. This felt like an insult to the NXT UK roster's status in the WWE hierarchy.

The OC vs. Randy Orton, Ricochet and Humberto Carrillo

9 of 9

The OC taunted Humberto Carrillo backstage until Ricochet came to his aid. AJ Styles mocked The One and Only as well, challenging the two to find a partner to fight them later. A side remark about Randy Orton from The Phenomenal One caught The Viper's attention, and he accepted that third spot.

Later in the night, The One and Only found The Apex Predator backstage, calling him out for playing mind games. Orton did not dispute the assertions.

Ricochet and Orton had trouble working together as The One and Only constantly distrusted The Viper. Orton showed though he could be trusted when he RKO'd Styles and then tagged in Carrillo to hit a moonsault for the win against the United States champion.

Result

Orton, Ricochet and Carrillo def. The OC by pinfall

Grade

B+

Analysis

This was a great TV main event. The OC have come together as a great trio and bring the best out of any rivals they run into. This was no different even if it was questionable to have them lose to just a conflicted trio.

Orton and Ricochet's feud has already grown far more interesting than many recent rivalries for The Viper. Orton is leaning into his role as a tweener, willing to take down heels as much as faces. He seems content to bide his time with Ricochet rather than getting aggressive from the start.
